What a terrific video! I've watched a lot and yours is the one that really helped to me understand why the Bellicon would be a good choice for someone like me. I pretty much only like walking but bought an inexpensive, spring trampoline years ago to get an idea if it might be fun, before investing in something more expensive. It was but I didn't use it much and the cat decided it made a lovely bed. At 60 and just diagnosed with osteoporosis I've been convinced that rebounding is going to be the best exercise to help gently increase bone density. Starting with the little Goodlife trampoline again, I found the movement jarring and my back and hips hurt even taking it easy. Bellicon, Jumpsport and Leaps and Rebounds were in the running then looking at the Cellerciser brought me here to you and I'm happy it did, thank you.

This video encouraged me to buy the Bellicon. Trying it convinced me to keep it. It is softer, and very comfy. But you CAN sprint on it. It’s either being willing feel a slower pace or sprinting with the feet slightly wider, like just past hip width. On the bit slower step, I feel like the muscle recruitment is more full. The whole length of my leg and glute is activated. When I take a bit wider stance to sprint I can pick up more speed. But I also feel like this is good for the hip to knee alignment and abductors. Shall we also mention that an overly narrow gait when running on treadmill or ground contributes to joint trouble? So, to me the Bellicon is a win-win.

I’m so glad I bumped into your video. After many hours of comparing rebounders I have been comparing the different rebounders and I’ve heard the bellicon is the best. I know it’s a lot more expensive and you have to wait a lot longer to get it. I wish I had someone who could recommend which one I need. I weigh 115 lbs and I want to share my rebounder with my mom who is 101 years old and weighs 82 pounds. I want one with a bar on it for mom. Who knows maybe it will be beneficial for me too. This is a cute story, I was parked in a grocery store parking lot the other day and someone parked next to me in their beautiful brand new Rolls Royce. I debated on getting a used Bellicon rebounder or a new cheaper brand. I’ve heard it said that Bellicon is referred to as the “ Rolls, Royce” of rebounders. So if you catch my drift, the rolls-Royce parked next to me, was a sign!!

I'll add my two cents: I paid $900 for my bellicon with stability bar Nov. 2021. I am not flush with cash, but when I buy something I am compelled to invest in quality that will preform well and last. I love my Bellicon, BUT, what nobody talks about and which really bothers me is the hidden fact that their bungees only last for about a year. I expected them to last for 3 to 5 years before needing to replace them. I did not expect that after buying the most expensive rebounder on the market that now I am locked into feeding Bellicon another $100 plus every year for a new set of bungees?
@bouncefitstudio43848 күн бұрын
@@kbwfgg6400 it’s very subjective as not everyone uses it the same, weighs the same, etc. But for the trade off of using spring vs bungee I think the reward of the bungees is worth it. The impact issues you mention when using the Cellercise are the same problem I had. The compression on the joints and spine was painful for me and I don't get that on the Bellicon and feel a much better workout to a greater muscle group with my Bellicon. From what I understand from the research I have done on the lymphatic system it works on a pressure buildup from the muscle contractions more than anything. The Bellicon working a greater muscle group would improve this muscle contraction and pressure buildup in the lymphatic system.

I agree that it is a personal preference and that they are very different. I have both and use both regularly. If I had to chose one, I would also pick the Bellicon, but I do like both of them. For me, since the Bellicon is bouncier, I like to use it more for cardio with music which makes it more fun. I either free style jump to music or follow San Fran Fitness, Naomi Joy, or Bellicon Home videos. Because the Bellicon is so much fun, the chance that I will stick with it is greater. I use the Cellerciser more for targeted exercise without music and all instruction from I jump Instead. For me, it's sort of like the difference between Pilates (Cellerciser) and Zumba (Bellicon). This is just the way I use them, but of course you can do cardio/freestyle jumping on the Cellerciser. It just won't be as bouncey as on the Bellicon. I agree that they are completely different. I appreciate the review being a more fair review than what's out there. I use my cellercises for calisthenics training and barely ever come off the mat, and when I do, its very little. Pretty much the only exercise I could do when I started at my weight, total lack of fitness, and my injuries. It gave me very fast results in balance and flexibility, doing the correct exercises the cellerciser was intended for. Slimmed down incredible fast too, because I would not have had the stamina , aerobic conditioning to jump on the bellicon. Its like I had to cellerciser to now "graduate" to be physically enough in shape to use bellicon. As for bellicon, the bungee strength has to be spot on (tried 3 different strength), and "imitating" the same firmness of cellerciser was not possible, it was a different experience although they feel the same (hard to explain, i agree, you would have to do both to understand it). I find that the bellicon, I like a bit softer bungee. With the stronger bungees I had all kinds of pains that I don't get on cellerciser, even doing the same exercises. But the combination of the softer bounce, and in my case, bigger mat (being tall) makes for fun exercises on the bellicon that I don't do or can't do on cellerciser. I feel they both have a place in the rebounding world, I would love to try a jumpsport and compare, but my rebounder buying days are over for now...LOL. At the end of the day, I want everyone to rebound, get the correct rebounder for their fitness level and weight, and as stated, stay away from the cheap stuff! its not worth it and you end up spending just as much in the end. So thank you for a more objective review of both.

Also I ordered stability bars and all total it came to over $1000! I was like, well, better use it girl. I have, on and off, and have to say the ultra strong cords were a must for me. I was for sure protonating with the medium cords and couldn't really do "fitness" rebounding without them. But now I want to also order a cellerciser because I need a rebounder I can travel with and move outside to workout in fresh air, esp. as the warmer season has come here to Michigan. I was wondering about an unbiased comparison, because of course, Dave Hall only shows what he believes are negatives with the bellicon when comparing the two. I'm going to go ahead and order a cellerciser because it's foldable and I can take it outside and travel with it. @bouncefitstudio4384 Жыл бұрын
I would suggest replacing all at once and it really depends on how much and how rigorous you are and if it’s exposed to heat. I have not had to replace mine. The stronger bungee the faster you can go and the more the bungee does for you. The softer is harder to go as fast but uses more muscle and balance which I also like.

@bouncefitstudio43843 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes absolutely. It’s deceiving as you bounce at a slower rate depending on what bungee you get but you go deeper into the mat which calls for more muscle activation, in my opinion. I sweat faster too. I did some Bellicon home videos and could barely keep up, embarrassing to say! 😃
@tammykolen7913 жыл бұрын
@@bouncefitstudio4384 thank u kindly for your thoughts here. So if I can clarify, having stronger bungee straps will give you a better cardio as there is less give (which makes logical sense) and thus, u can jump quicker. It's just hard to decide because you notice the bellicose action bring so smooth, almost like it's effortless and too enjoyable to enable a challenging workout? So hypothetically, if I go the Bellicon route, which specific straps would enable the best cardio results?
@bouncefitstudio43843 жыл бұрын
@@tammykolen791 I believe you can go faster with extra strong bungees. Going faster can raise your heart rate. But I like the slower deeper bounce because it’s softer on the the body AND it makes you balance more, use the core more, and there is more muscle activation which calls on your heart more as well. I think the harder bungees allow quicker movements. At my age, 55, with lots of issues, the softer slower is better, but also harder at the same time. I could hardly keep up with the instructor on bellicon home videos because my heart rate was so high. The stiffer the bungee, it does the work for you, the softer, you do the work. You can get both bungees snd switch out as well. Hope this makes sense.

@@bouncefitstudio4384 ok, I just got a used jumpsport 350pro. It was the budget I had to work with. Prior to that I was using the spring style urban rebounder...it spent a lot of time gathering dust. It was uncomfortable to use. I have degenerative disc disease in my lower spine and knee caps that go slightly sideways rather than up and down. Like you I can hurt my back easily (like picking up a book). I have always known if I strengthen the muscles in my back and thighs, that it can help alleviate my pain and the ease in which I injure myself. I did hear you say bellicon over the jumpsport. Just not an option for me. Now the jumpsport I got has adjustable bungees. The previous owner had it on the firmest strength out of 7 levels. I left it as it was when I got it home. I immediately hopped on just to play. Spent about 30 minutes doing mostly the health bounce. I really enjoyed how comfortable it was in comparison to my old dust collector. The next day I had them side by side and I did about ten minutes on the Jumpsport, then switched to the dust collector and in less than a minute my joints said "no" and I got back on the Jumpstart. Spent about 30 minutes twice on the Jumpsport yesterday and the my muscles are a bit sore today, I don't hurt. I have nothing else to compare to. My question since you understand the need to be gentle to your body. Do you think I should stay on the firmest settings as it is or should I soften it up? I don't want to hurt myself, but I need to increase my strength and lose more weight and don't want to make it "easy" on myself. If that makes sense.

It's my opinion only, of course, but it's always better to keep your audience's attention on YOUR product and its own "superpowers" rather than introduce them to another brand. For example... you've never seen a commercial about Rolls Royse demonstrating why it's better than a Cadillac Coupe Deville. Wait, right?! =) Especially these days with Tesla's EVs. Other EV manufacturers that try to compare themselves to Tesla in stats and technology run the risk of people researching Tesla's cars directly and deciding that a Tesla EV is WAY WAY better. Boom, the other brands paid for the advertisement AND lost the sale doing it. Good luck, though! ;-)

I find the comparison very helpful. I prefer an unbiased comparison. I wish we could see that more often. Instead we are bombarded with reviews from KZbinrs who receive free products and I personally don't find them to be fair. I own the Cellerciser and am thinking of trying the Bellicon for the reasons stated. I would like to try more bounce. These are two very highly rated Rebounders so why not compare?

Isn’t everything these days? It’s definitely worth it when you take the jump 😆 You actually have to feel others to believe it.
