and an other question: why dont we have to define the contact between the ground plane and the smartphone? I generell I dont understand why you dont use the contact settings, maybe commonly used for nonlinear problems?

For explicit dynamic their interactions between bodies instead of contacts. You can find in the connections.

I did same as what you did but it isn't touching the ground. I gave 0.001, 0.1 and even 1 nothing is changing please help me🙏. It is just moving some distance and coming back..!

Just create rectangular surface and define rigid properties to the platform.

why dont we have to define grativy? I guess because the computing time for this problem is so less and we defined this in the velocity setting, right?

It dynamic analysis no need to define gravity. You can easily verify this with reaction obtained with and without gravity.

Check the minimum element length and try to increase the size of it. Explicit runs take time to solve, it might varries from few hours to few days.
