I am not an expert on English, but I don't understand what is the importance of guessing the answers "interfere". In real life if people do not understand the tasks , they ask again. Interfere REALLY kills me.

Hi Douglas, the "inference" technique use in reading is same strategy as understanding the surrounding context of sentences/paragraph and it helps most specially if the word is unfamiliar to test takers.

Thd celpip test asks question that I will definitely not use in normal life. Why don't they give practical questions. I don't know why I have to know about different scientific/chemical terms. Why are they asking questions like that? + why are the sample tests totally different from the actual test? Like the sample tests make you think the tests aren't that difficult and then you go to the test and then bam you get something so difficult.
