Thanks Brandi for your effort. My concern is; why is it that one is graded CLB 9 even when one gets 34 questions right in reading test, yet only graded as CLB 7 getting same 34 questions right in listening task, please?

The reason that a different number of correct answers is required to earn the same CLB level in both Reading and Listening is because of the different skill sets that are required to complete each element. In other words, the skills that we require for Reading are vastly different from the skills required for Listening; this is why the CLB descriptors themselves summarize different outcomes in Reading than in Listening for each level. The CELPIP score charts for Reading and Listening are designed to reflect these differences.

Please make a video exclusively for Listening Part 4 (News Item). I can only see that its clubbed with one of the Speaking module tasks which could be deviating from the actual segment to focus on. In a nutshell, its a sincere request to make an exclusive content on Listening Part 4 (News Item). I like the step by step procedure and explanation for each module delivered by Brandi in all the videos. This gives more clarity and comprehension, thus making it more simpler to solve the questions . Thanks

The question "Who are the speakers discussing?" is asking about the subject of the conversation, not the individuals speaking. (Who are the speakers?) - This question asks about the identities of the people who are currently speaking. "Who are the speakers discussing?" - This question asks about the topic or subject that the speakers are talking about. It's asking about the content of their conversation, not specifically about the speakers themselves.

the confusion on the first question-- could've been better if they added a preposition stranding/end-sentence preposition "about"
