Celtic Fan here........ always watch your reviews because you tell it how it is. We're not stupid either. That was a terrible Celtic performance against an opposition that was desperate for a result. Referee was a disgrace, but then we've had a few VAR and ref decisions go against us too. I'd rather it was binned. Refs love VAR, means they don't have to actually do anything. Terrible game to watch. You are correct in all the decisions that were wrongly made. No wonder we have no refs at the Euros. They are a joke, inc. VAR. Bin VAR & get in foreign refs & pay them the money instead. If this had been another Covid season with no fans, Rodgers would have messed that season up & it would be the other way round. He got lucky. Clement is worth keeping, he's good but had to manage too many injuries. Celtic started the season with too many injuries ( losing to Kilmarnock was why you won the League Cup ) and our transfer windows were terrible ( apart from Idah ). We had what Rangers winners from 20 years ago had ( via EBTs ) England Goalie, Woods ( Joe H ) , Carter V ( Terry Butcher ), Calum McG & strikers............... = solid spine, right through team. I like to be honest about bad decisions & bad management of a game ( subs )just like you are in reviews . Good luck next season esp. in Europe. I just wish we didn't play 4 times a season & the opposition ( Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen ) made it all a much better fight/closer. Money has ruled otherwise, shame.

If it hadn’t been for disallowed goals in old firm matches this season, Rangers in all probability would have won the treble. We are fighting more than one enemy now. Lawells placements in the SPFL hierarchy, and on the refereeing lists are making it more difficult for Rangers to succeed. It needs to be addressed. Kevin Clancy should never referee another Rangers match in his career. I hate to sound like one of the great unwashed, but this season has been simply beyond belief.

This might be controversial. I'm 100% behind Phil and the job he has done, especially after what he inherited last year. He will get the summer to get his own players in, but if he doesn't win any of the first 2 derbies next season, then he'll have a massive problem. Clement is honestly a pretty poor manager and doesn't have the mentality to lead the club to success. Really good analysis CJ, as always,. I thought overall Rangers maybe just cinched it as the best team. In the second half they were definitely the better team. I think it was definitely a foul / infringement on Hart at the disallowed goal. I also think it was a real smarter of a shot from Bernardo ( he needs to be the replacement for O'Riley, not sure he's up for the job yet} Not being a Rangers fan, and being based in London, Raskin and Silva look good players. Sterling looks like a very good players. Anyway, seasons over, prayin for Scotland to do well

a lot of different felling's about this game but some players to mention that done well. both balogun and Davies were very good and a great partnership, got stuck in, communicated with each other to me we keep both of them and get someone like balogun but much more reliable that can play week in and week out. all though the midfield did take a while to get going. raskin and diomance again they complement each other attributes so thats a partnership that needs and should continue or at least someone like raskin to pair with diomande. as for diomande he was great in terms of intensity ran his heart out, put him self about and was more than ready to put a harsh tackle when it was needed, cantwell also done decent. as for dessers this might be a weird comparison but i fell like a sakala just with out the pace that would make Usain bolt jealous . that you dont give them time to think about the shot and it might go in. now onto the ref i mean he did let the game flow but. first that handball on Davies never cause 1. from what you pointed out CJ about ball hitting onto a hand bai deflection from another body part but 2. what is Davies supposed to do, magically know that the ball is going to bounce of perfectly of hatata ( i think) who is on the ground and going to hit his hand. the foul on sterling no foul, no card not even VAR. sorry? its in the box, scales ( i think ) isnt getting to the ball, also there is a difference between a shoulder budge and winning just cause your stronger and someone putting 2 hands on your back and shoving you to the ground. now for the joe heart disallowed goal. to me its a goal now if Celtic supports want to compare with raskin the difference is that joe heart is all ready going for the ball, 2. scales maybe i cant remember is holding onto raskin. 3 the shove from raskin is not NEARLY as forceful as the one on sterling. taking as the fact that joe heart barley moves and sterling get shoved to the floor like joey Barton when pissed of. now against braga the same type of challenge was put on roofe and the players was sent off. now to ask a question? if that the case for Europe why is it not a fowl and a yellow card. now im not saying something extreme that Clancy was bribed at this points im honestly thinking he including his bias and his fan for being a Celtic fan and as for the sudden every foul was a yellow card and SOME decision was just to try and balance it out but i know i might be wrong as for clement he had good tactics and game plan just some players were not up to scratch. i trust clement think if we get the players that we want as rangers fan then we could really be in for a treat

Diomande was quality, excited to see what he can do for us next season. Brilliant composure, strength, athleticism and technical skill in tight areas. Sterling had some good moments too but he's wasted out wide, he's better in CM and we really need to be playing 3 CMs against Celtic, they were breaking through the middle of the pitch far too easily first half. Raskin grew into the game well in the 2nd half. Positive signs from them and the 2 CBs but under no illusions that serious overhaul is still needed.

Prime example of VAR needing to go was the Diomande review for a red card. Over 2 minutes it took to decide what we all could see instantly, no red. And yet BBC commentators said it was red. Btw BBC commentary was a disgrace today too

Pleasure as always keeping up with the channel this season CJ! My pre-match routine will always involve a cheeky cjnovo preview. I hope we've got plenty to be excited about next season, a couple good european ties to get pumped up for and a few old firm wins for PC to get the ball rolling. Was reflecting on Seville with my brother the other day and realised we've been Injury FC now for 3 seasons... mental to actually realise that the injury problems in the spine of this team haven't been addressed in that long. This season was by far the worst for injuries but you only have to cast your mind back to Gio's UCL campaign to see the glaring holes in the defence. Bringing in Beale was one of the worst decisions the board's made between that and not backing Gerrard or Gio properly. We often get too caught up in the "Ranger's Man" mantra bringing in players or coaching staff, I've got faith in PC and his team to recruit well, would be nice to see a few Scottish players in there but if they scout the next Bassey I'm more than happy :). Goal was rightly chopped off but seconds before Raskin push he was fouled by Greg Taylor who seemed to think he was playing American football block and hold! Which was a penalty as was Dessers fouled by a follow through from Vickers another penalty!

How can anyone look at that disallowed goal and say it wasn’t the correct decision? It’s also wrong by say Hart was “nowhere near the ball”. He was under it and in a good position to take the ball cleanly or at the very least get a good fist on it, until he was pushed on the back. There are lots of times Refs get it wrong; that clearly wasn’t one of them. Good call.. Same number of major trophies..!! :)
