I'm German, but my best friend is a Celtic fan, so he made me visit Glasgow and the Celtic Park, and that was one of the most impressing experiences of my life. It was a nice game (3:3 against Inter Milan) with fantastic supporters singing as loud as they could for 90 minutes and more. Lots of respect and regards from Bavaria!!

I'm an Ajax fan and i was at the game tuesday but i was really ashamed of the behaviour of some of my fellow supporters. Prior to the game i had a great laugh with some celtic fans. Even after the game we shook hands and drank a beer. That is what football is about for me, having fun with your mates. You win some, you lose some.

What a fantastic night again yesterday. Had quite a few drinks and laughs with the Celtic fans on the Dam square. Even though it was a poor game, I think we deserved the win and are now back in the third place. Second place is also still within reach. A shame all the riots that did took place also. Note there were Anderlacht hooligans, Dinamo Zagreb hooligans and St. Pauli hooligans in the centre. But as I said before there are rotten apples in every community. And the majority of Ajax and Celtic fans came to support their clubs. On the whole I had a great night getting the time to laugh with you Scots. So respect for Celtic, you're a great lot. I dont think there is an official friendship between Rangers and Ajax. Rangers identify with Israel and tend to wave the Israeli flag, but both Celtic and Ajax are left leaning (Celtic maybe too much so). Interesting fact, Ajax is not actually a jewish club, there was a Synagogue close to the club in the 19th century and many Jews would come and watch. Bayern Munich on the other hand was founded by jews.

I'm Ajax fan, was at the game Tuesday. I'm very sorry for the behaviour of some of the Ajax fans, throwing seats, showing middle fingers, not respecting YNWA. I felt really ashamed. I had great fun with some Celtic fans in the city. I hoped the atmosphere would be friendly and great, like always, but it wasn't. Being a Fenerbahce fan, I watch only occasionally mostly towards the end of the season and important FB Europe games. So, I knew Celtic game would be intense and a good one. While thinking Celtic, I asked myself, well If Celtic is competing in Euro League, then Rangers is probably is in Champions league. As far as I can remember, I always thought Rangers were the better club than Celtic ( in terms of winning the title, not that I knew both clubs intimately ) and obviously I knew the legendary rivalry between the two clubs. My curiosity lead me to log on to Uefa web site and I did not see Ranger's in the CL standings, then I did not see them in the Euro League standings as well. I am like..OK..well. Then I logged on to the Scottish Premiership standing. Rangers are not there either ! I looked at the standings few times and realized they are really not there. I am like what? Is this a joke? so, performed few searches and realizes Rangers are relegated and it is due to, seems like some financial or political reasons. I do not really know the full details of how this has happened, but Ranger's were the dominant club, and It is , to me, surreal that this has happened. How in the hell, they had this club fall so hard ( it seems )? In my mind, before finding this out today, I was still thinking Rangers-Celtic is one of the best , if not the best, derby in the world today. This is shocking to me quite honestly !

+TheUploadeo That bugs the question ! I can not imagine FB or GS in Turkey would be relegated ever due to financial issues. Their fans would not allow that happen even if FB is in bankruptcy. FB is still a public sports club. That is to say the club is considered to be owned by fans, not by any corporation or individual. In case of a financial hardship, there are many wealthy businessmen would save the club because FB with the fan base, is one of the biggest ( probably the biggest ) institution in the country. FB presidency has more prestige than the prime minister ! so i was thinking Rangers club similarly in Scotland. That is why it is perplexing to me that Rangers relegated to third division. I think extreme Capitalism got the best of Rangers ! Reading more online, some even claims that the new Rangers is a different club, and the Rangers is really a history now !. Good luck though. There is no doubt the Ajax fans supported their team with great fervour. They sang their hearts out for their team. The scenes where they danced and sang were very impressive.
