Yeah dispite the horrors in another country, we shouldn’t bring political situation into our stadium, and I don’t mean that in a bad way , it’s horrific what’s happened over there , but as supporters we should only be flying our beloved clubs flags 💚🍀🍀🙏👏

It's no surprise that our form has improved dramatically now that our best players are fit again. However, it shows how weak our squad is in terms of quality. I think at least 10 players will leave and maybe 5 or 6 in (but need to be quality and with some top level experience in there too)

You are totally right Hamish, this entire season has felt weird and surreal, the thought of having the same record as Ange season 1 is absolutely mad to me, I think the difference is a lot of Ange’s dropped points were early on and so there was a massive winning run. This year we haven’t really had that, so it’s been up and down and tbh at times I’ve found it difficult to really get my teeth into this season and enjoy it. It still feels a bit weird to have Brendan back, but if that last night is a sign of what’s to come I’m sure I’ll get over it soon enough hahah. All in all, after all that’s went on, we’re champions and with the UCL money and the fortune in the bank as is and the money from sales of (probably) Matt O’Riley etc. we can absolutely bury rangers next year and that is a beautiful thought. Onto the Scottish cup to equal Rangers’ trophy haul and put an end to their “most successful team in football” patter. CELTIC GLASGOWWWWWWW! 🍀

Keep everyone in the squad. Who could fail to learn and improve from that performance.

@martinryan9265Ай бұрын
There is no doubt Hamish that the Covid season vibes were apparent at points during this season. A manager appointment that was far from well received for a start. Fans fighting with the hierarchy and we even had our very own Shane Duffy version 2 with Nat Phillips. Even if you look in terms of results and performances when comparing those 2 seasons then they are quite alike. Believe it or not after the first 18 games this season we had 1 point LESS than under Lennon and 1 point more than Ange season 1. What we really needed though was for the remaining games to go more Ange like than Lennon like. In terms of the covid season, nobody really wants to give Lennon a free pass but it was a bizarre set of circumstances. The league was pretty much done before it has begun. And that was mainly down to us dropping lots of points and not been able to lay a glove on Rangers who in turn seemed to barely drop a point all season. However at the end of the day the buck stops with Lennon and he showed his shortcomings as a manager. From the Hearts defeat at home in December , this is when Rodgers had to prove he was no Neil Lennon and prove why he was getting the mega bucks and in the main he proved his worth. 4 good results up to the winter break including beating Rangers. Then i expected for us to kick on even more after the break which was a Rodgers trademark of previous seasons. However we come back from the break playing worse somehow and the 11 points we took out of 15 vs County, Aberdeen, Hibs, Killie and Motherwell was actually MORE than what the performances deserved tbh. But those late goals at Fir Park really seemed to galvanise the team and our performances steadily improved and our belief started to come back with the help of our best players coming back too. The only blot on the copy book in the run in was Hearts away and that even showed some encouraging signs in itself despite the self inflicted wounds. I think the remainder of the run in was fairly comfortable and we took care of some tricky ties with ease. The 2 performances against Rangers in the run in were in the main very good. But after the dust is settled on this season I am not sure anyone will be comparing this to the covid season. As we won the league and dominated the Derbies which was the exact opposite of the Covid season. Brendan has proven his worth and I look forward to proper progress in Europe next season. And breathe

Every player was top class but Scales was the best player on the park and was my man of the match by a baw hair as they were all brilliant. HH once again bring on the real 55 Bhoys & Ghrils & Hoopy Top Dog.......AGAIN......... WOOF. Yeah, Speaking out, the SFA ban which only after he served then SFA comming out and saying mistakes where made? Then the hearts player makes the same highfoot tackle what the Celtic player got sent off for with Ropdgers getting a match Ban! But when the foul is made against Celtic at Celtic Park now VAR say' it's not a foul? Let's have some fun

I wasn't keen on Rodgers coming back and after the back to back defeats in December I'll admit I wanted him out. But not many other managers would've turned that around and winning the new year game. This run in especially we've been excellent, culminating in last night which was as good as peak Ange whilst also seeing parts of our game i never thought we had. Idah and CCVs passing, Madea touch, Forrest and even Scales was good. Palma was great when he came on. We're just peaking in every area going into this cup final. Unbelievable.
