Celtic Breizh Bouzouki

BREST MÊME
Composition CELTIC-BREIZH for CITTERN or BOUZOUKI. BREST is a port
with the point of BRITTANY. the tuning is as follows: DGCF but it is
simply a tone below the EADG used usually. The reason of this choice
is a more serious question of tonality approaching the MANDOCELLO.

@antreasz125 Heum sorry guy but this IS a Bouzouki, it's an Irish Bouzouki, it an more mordern form of the Greek one adapted by the Irish. It only tuned like the 4 lower string of guitar instead of the original (GDAD / GDAE)

The terms "bouzouki" and "cittern" are both borrowed by this family of instruments. More accurately they are mandolas, the same family as the mandolin (which means "small mandola"). They were relatively recently adopted into Celtic music, but they fit very well and have become accepted to the point that many think they are traditional. The Greek Bouzouki is a very different instrument made for a different style of playing. Neither is better or worse, they are just different.

It is a Sobell. There are two kinds of bouzouki / mandola family instrument owners, those who have a Sobell and those who want to have a Sobell. (I like my Nyberg and both my Freshwaters, but a Sobell would be a VERY nice addition).
