In England in the 1980’s a music paper called ‘Sounds’ would give away with certain editions,free proper vinyl singles,one such single had this on it,it changed my life😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍺🍺

This is funny since in a surreal way it seems we, the Metal kids into this sound in the mid 80s , intuitively knew how Celtic Frost should had sounded more accurately than ( some of ) the people involved in the transitional process from one Ep to the other . We liked the songs ...we simply wanted the sound more like " Morbid Tales " , exactly why this was always regarded as a close second EP to the debut . Nearly 4 decades later - Voilá : exactly how I ( and other mates ) envisioned this sounding back as a mid teen into Metal . That beefy , grave(r) tone which I will never forget upon listening to " Visions of Mortality " in the Radio for the 1st time when that was 1st out . Akin to a Possession , and I´m not even kidding . " Surreal " yes, in the sense that it feels like Tom Warrior has finally found what it is " the listeners " see/expect as they experience Celtic Frost . This Remix´s release being a surprisingly accurate example . 88 ...strange date for remixing this like we hear it here, I tell you ...then again , imho, CF never got any clearer an identity as in " Into the Pandemonium " . A song like , say, " Inner Sanctum " was exactly how we perceived " To Mega Therion " had Martin played in it . I can recall vividly turning to one of my mates and telling him : " This must be a ´To Mega Therion `leftover song but this time with Martin´s input ." [That kind of innocent, naive remark coming from a mid/late teen who knew little about ( studio ) technicalities ] . Thanks for making this available . Celtic Frost is probably the ONLY band from that era which manages to remain legit and , above all , convincing . Like a good play , like a good trickster .
