@AlbertaSpice When I was in college, I studied the 6 major religions. My sister asks me which one was most interesting, expecting that the more exotic, movie star attracting religions would be more appealing. I said, "Christianity, believe it or not. It has the most fascinating story, the most meaningfull text, and the most hopefull message." Christianity is a beautiful religion, yet so many people refuse to see any of the positive; and highlight the negative.

@russellmuscle1 That's cool, and it just rings true. Why would a God who loves his Children, not give them a role model to follow who could show the way back to Him? @nakedBison69 I just found this comment and felt that I should respond to you. You are right, No one "Takes" your sins away. But Christ made it possible for you to be forgiven if you truly ask and want to be. I hope you will come to a point in your life where this will make sense to you and that you will be rewakened to truth and love and faith. The simple faith that was in you as a child and makes all things possible and make sense... Even in a world where it is all muddled and confused.

@AlbertaSpice I certainly appreciate your decency, but I've had enough of the interent athiests. I could debate you all day, with respect, but I choose not to because I don't feel the need to convince you of anything. I've seen enough Christians devote thier lives to helping others, only to constantly be slammed by mad at the world 15 year olds for things that happened 300 years ago to make me sick. Naked Bison isn't arguing with you in a manner that deserves your thoughtful response.

Family can't save you from hell, only Jesus can. He is the bread of life. Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst." John chp 6 v 35. Family is important, yes, but nowhere near as important as Jesus who took away the sins of the world to all those who believe in Him so that they may have everlasting life and be reconciled to God the Father.

@nakedBison69 This life is only temporary. Family cannot save you from eternal punishment in Hell i.e. God's wrath against you. Only Jesus can save you from God's wrath and give you eternal life in Heaven with God. Yes, everyone dies. And yes you should still live life to the fullest, but not for your purposes or your family's purposes for they cannot save you, but rather live for God's purposes and the Son's glory. This sounds foolish to you because you are not saved. Pray for your soul to God
