In a huge part they lost without playing Lucy A. C. I've mentioned this before this lady doesn't even get the recognition she deserves!!!. I suspect bias towards her . She works bloody hard to deliver crosses and make difficult passes successfully. Why wasn't she on at the start ? She is very strong and confident taking players on and handle any tough opposition with aplomb. Get her in that team soon or she will have no interest in performing with Celtic in future games.

Correct! Crazy decision! Couldn’t believe she wasn’t in the staring 11. She is easily our most creative and attacking threat. Elena tried to spook Twente by playing a renowned Dutch shape (3-4-2-1) but got it horribly wrong, too defensive at home. Maria and Lofeski are also players that don’t get enough game time.

@@leannecampbell4551 Thanks for responding Leanne, I am never pleased when "experienced" manager's make obvious errors of judgement when choosing player's, sometimes there's perhaps an unknown reason for this to the likes of myself and others. I just didn't understand why the formation was changed either as I doubt our ladies agreed to this horrendous change which just played into opposition hands. I've had to witness this in the Scottish team's men and women's for many years and I always wonder why they do this as we get nowhere but disappointed all round.

@@rha4374 Yeah, I fear Elana is too smart for her own good sometimes, or better said, very much like Brendan; putting on airs to make himself seem smarter than he actually is. The permanent move to New Douglas Park was also an extremely perplexing one. Yes, accessibility for fans is greater than Airdrie, but we went from one of the best synthetic playing surfaces in Scotland, to arguably the worst. Especially after Elena waxing lyrical about how important the Airdrie surface was to the style of Football she wants to play. Totally bizarre to then uproot ourselves. We should be be playing our home UCL games at Celtic Park anyways, no one wants to travel to bloody backwater Hamilton for a high profile game against Real Madrid and Chelsea. Another contradiction by the club, claim they’re trying to promote and grow the Women’s team as much as possible, but yet don’t allow them to play at Paradise.

@@leannecampbell4551 I couldn't say it any better, This famous Celtic team should NEVER have agreed to permanently play any matches at D Park. It's my understanding that we are providing monies to a rangers director and it's bad enough using their buses also. Or is that the other lot won't smash them up in the knowledge of the ownership and smart thinking? Glasgow Celtic should remain in Glasgow not Hamilton but again it's the familiar excuse to rid the fans from the city and add more expenses for everyone. All ladies footie should be available at Celtic park whenever possible and Hampden for champs league. And I thought this madness only applied to Caley Thistle enthusiasts.
