there is not much symphonic black metal actually. this song does not have alot symphonic sounds compared to what tom did with triptykon and metropol orkest which i do not like at all. but in rex irae its more guitar and drum and vocals than anything else and it sound good.

This song sounds too 90s'ish for 80s standards. I mean you have funk metal drums, doom metal riffs, symphonic metal cello and gothic's beauty and the beast vocals. This song along with cardiacs' "in a city lining" marks the birth of avant garde metal genre

I thought i love Extreme Metal, until Celtic Frost took my heart forever and i forgot about any Death/Black metal bands. It sounds horrible for those people, who only wants to hear screams and endless blastbeats. Celtic Frost are musically higher than all that extreme bullshit. Celtic Frost is a true art
