We actually visited the City Museum for the first time back in 2011 the day before Bob was murdered. We really hoped someone would have picked up the Torch and Continued the Cement Land project. Thanks for the Drone Footage.

Jacob, thanks for flying your drone over this. Always wondered what it looked like. So glad one of your followers sent you a new drone,. If they had not, we all would had missed out on this. Wish I had known who he was at the time, Bob an a friend stopped by my wacky world on there way to Nashville. He told me he had built a funland for St Louis like I was doing for western Kentucky. I really didn't know what he was talking about until a few years later when Roadside America folk stopped by and told me about the City Museum.

I LOVE the shapes in there. Reminds me of Akron's Quaker Square where the old oats silos are (turned into hotel rooms now of course). I think my favorite part is the semi-circular steps leading up to the building with the crane and circular "hole" in it. They just made me smile. (Not that your videos don't make me smile each time I get that email alert that you've posted! )

Look up Ha Ha Tonka outside of Camdenton Mo. Its a beautiful place and a tragic story!

I was unaware that he was murdered, I only remembered the original story, that it was an accident. That makes the story even sadder. It looks like the place would have been cool, although I'm still wondering how he would have made such a large space safe. Love the StL videos, makes me remember growing up around that area.

city museum is wonderful and met the creator at the museum,,nice guy..Im so sorry he didnt get cementland done ,it would have be another masterpiece..it truly would have been wonderful..I wish they had the city museum when i was a youngster..all the climbing tubes etc.

I live about 20 minutes from cement land and I’ve been inside and explored it and I’ve heard creepy noises In a dark circle staircase it sounded as someone was walking up the stairs following me and my friends and we heard talking but when we went to where we heard it nobody was there and the talking had stopped since then we’ve never been back and I don’t plan on going back
