This is exactly what I want from all wax museums. Everything just feels, well, _off._ The visible immersion-breaking joints in the mannequins arms, and the surprising number of hands facing the wrong way with their palms up in the air, the oddly incorrect hairstyles, etc. I'd wager my own parents that these models shudder to a grim parody of life at night in order to venerate their dark master.

LOL!!! :D To be fair to Charles Lindbergh, lots of folks did NOT KNOW how Bad Hitler was BEFORE WW2. He put on a good front to the world. He believed in Animal rights, he was an Environmentalist and he was a staunch anti communist. Only with the benefit of hindsight (and knowledge from people who were THERE in the Third Reich) what a madman he was. Remember that Franklin Delano Roosevelt refused to believe that the Holocaust was real in 1942 (even when 200 rabbis were protesting on the steps of the Capitol building). Only AFTER the war, when they documented the atrocities with filmmakers and eye witness accounts did even the most ardent skeptics admit that the Nazis were crazy/evil and monstrous.

I can recognize that Macaulay Culkin anywhere! That used to be on display at the Hollywood Wax Museum up until the late 2000's. They too used to have an excellent chamber of horrors, with lots of hidden nooks for scare actors to jump out at you. Then they had to go and auction off all their substandard figures to other museums around the country, and replace them with better crafted ones, when the Madame Tussaud's opened a block away. Now it's just an average forgettable wax museum.
