Cemu 1.19.0 Full setup/guide + BEST SETTINGS! - (Async) for both AMD and Nvidia!

Hi welcome to my Full setup/guide for Cemu 1.19.0 which also covers the best settings for your emulator to maximise performance for each individual. In the guide I also cover the new Async feature that both AMD and Nvidia users can take full advantage of using the Vulkan API.

Hi guys , i am having geforce 1050 and ive updated to the latest driver , but when i run cemu with the async it still warns me about current driver does not support the vulkan extension , any idea?

for some reason async doesn't work for me on the newest nvidia driver but if i use an older driver it works fine and it doesn't give me the warning. it's frustrating tryna change driver if i want to play something newer edit: spelling mistake

I know this was made around 4 years ago, but I'll still ask a question. I used this so I could play Splatoon, and it works perfectly, but the background and the character is blue, nothing else from what I've seen because I've only been in the character creator. Is there any way to fix this?

So I enabled Vulkan and the async stuff, I'm playing BOTW and I get flickering if I look at the inventory after light a fire with a torch, a workaround is to leave full screen, any ideas? Also I'm using adaptive V-Sync half refresh rate (30 FPS), I'm using a Core i7 and GTX 980.

I have actually seen a couple of people have this issue on Reddit as well it seems to be quite random no one has a proper fix for it atm. I suggest trying to turn adaptive V-Sync off and using either no V-sync or the emulators V-sync in the settings tab. Also try running the game with no graphic packs selected and see if the issue persists and add each one back until you find the potential culprit.

I am with the latest nvidia drivers for my 1080 Ti, which is 452.06 and the emulator gives me the error "vk_ext pipeline creation cache_control missing, update to latest gpu driver..." and that's what I did and it still gives me the fucking error wtf, I can't use async with vulkan pls help...

I have a few issues: 1. I get an error when i start the cemu emulator: "Unable to create file keys.txt" 2. The game Zelda isn't there, even though i set the game path exactly like u did in your video. 3. I can't save my Controller settings no matter what i try it just doesn't work. Any help?

the link for download the vulkan driver is the same as the normal driver. My nvidia driver is updated but I update it in nvidia experience, I already have the vulkan driver?

Yes as long as you have the most up to date nvidia driver then vulkan should be supported! Cemu will warn/tell you if you do not have the correct driver installed so if there is no warning you're good to go.

I'm pretty new to this all but I was getting stutters with compiling pipelines with a sync on and off. However I seem to be getting more and longer stutters with async on which is confusing as most have reported the opposite.

Hey Alex, I'm wondering if you could shed some light on why I'd be getting longer pauses and stuttering using A-sync on vulkan? I personally have trouble running OpenGL on an nvidia 1060 6gb but noticed much better performance running vulkan (minus the pipeline hitches) After updating my nvidia driver to vulkan 1.2 and running A-sync I now get longer stutters. Is there something I'm missing?

Never use open GL openGL uses your CPU not your graphics card

Use 20.4.2, 20.5.1 is currently an optional beta driver.
