CEN Reeper MT with UPGRADES on 6S
Here's a run with my Reeper using a couple of upgrades. I got myself some new tyres, a new servo and some new (softer) springs to use in the Reeper and this is how you'd expect it to perform.

8s or 12s would be fantastic on it with bigger motor and 300amp..Savage looking main frame construction, could be made stronger tougher and lighter using Titanium.

i can relate so much to you being so happy running this truck, reminds me of me evertime i run it, i just cant stop! i love this truck, i also switch my steering servo for a jx servo i was on defense about it but is a damn good servo. Also I'm so glad you spoke of the springs because i went ahead and got some losi lst dual rate yellow spring, this thing jumps like is on pillows thank god i didn't grab those. Please do more videos of this bad boy!! i definitely recommend you trying the losi lst spring (yellow) they're awesome, thank god i found a cure for my leaking shocks or i would of bought the shocks from losi lst as well.

Hey man I just got my Cen in yesterday and was blown away with the size of it!!! Couple questions for you. Are you taking about the 20kg jx servo? Or a bigger one? Also what was your fix for the leaking shocks? Mine came with 3 shocks leaking straight out the box! I broke them down and tightened up the lower collars so I'm hoping that fixed it. What was your solution? Thanks!

Hey Vas, thanks for another great vid. This Reaper is quite a machine. I've been watching you since the days ofthe Trooper unboxing, great job keep it up man. I do have a question... I noticed that none of your rigs are on stands... don't you get flat spots on your tires? Considering the heavywieights you have, I was wondering about this...

Great question... Yes, sometimes I do get flat spots, but not very often. And as soon as I use them those flat spots disappear, so I don't worry much about it. Not just that, but I move my cars around quite often, so the tyres are not in the same spot for long. I do have stands, but not enough for all my rigs and the stands don't fit a lot of them due to their size, so I keep an eye on the tyres and just move my rigs once in while. what are the specs on the Trackstar Servo, its a 30kg right? Im using the Savox 2230sg a 583 oz servo. Unfortunately i paid almost 3 times what the Trackstar cost. But isnt the Trackstar less torque than the stock 500oz servo? I added the Cen lockers to my Colossus hoping i dont rip anything apart, lol. Another awesome video. I had shocks leaking oil as well but CEN sent me a few set od replacement O rings. They have solved the problem so far.

Hey Vas, can you provide a link to the tires? I've gone on Cen's site numerous times and I can't find those tires to purchase. I've even asked them for a part number and they said its not available

I have the colossus and love the traction from the bow tie tire option. However, with the added traction/sidebite, I have had breakage in the steering arms from landing off kilter and having too much grip. the OG tires will slide out on bad landings and save some parts...so use the bowties only if you've got jumps mostly dialed : )

Awesome run video, this truck goes and handles so well and looks so composed whilst doing it. Shame about the crash, it seemed because the truck was handling SO well you didn't seem to bother focusing on driving as much you would normally do and bam! Glad it didn't do too much damage, great video!

i think your out pins broke in your c/d... or the pinion was lose ..i could tell if it was spinning, defiantly more than driveshaft.. none of the tires were turning. obviously you've tore it apart by now. what was it?

It seems like only ARRMA and Traxxas are left as the Top LAND RC Engineers, Innovators and Designers nowadays. I can remember about a decade ago where LOSI, HPI, Traxxas, Team Associated and even Tamiya were all in equal fighting ground with their RC designs and innovations but I guess we already know who won the fight.

Not quite sure what you mean by this comment or how it relates to the video, but I don't see Traxxas as an innovator company these days... although they have released the XO-1, XMaxx and now their crawler in the last 10 or so years, they still have vehicles in their fleet that are decades old and have been surpassed in every aspect by much younger companies such as ARRMA, Team Magic and Thunder Tiger. Losi is still doing great things and their cars keep getting better with every release. Team Associate are all about racing and don't offer much for the basher market. And what they do offer isn't that good... HPI are meant to be doing a comeback, but who knows when that'll happen... they have some solid rigs, but very old designs and expensive. CEN are really reinventing themselves and trying to compete with a very established market, which isn't easy, but they're doing a great job and this Reeper proves it.

Aussie RC Playground very well said mr. vas.. i would take it a step further and say they're actually the opposite of being "innovative"! they're holding the industry back if anything with all their stupid lawsuits, like they're the first ones to ever do cantilever suspension.. companies like Tamiya have been doing it since the 80s. they overcharge for everything and to top it off make their shit proprietary they're like the Apple of the RC industry! screw traxxas
