Love your channel vas! Cant wait to see this thing rip! I too am in the prepossess or throwing a larger power plant in the cen. I'm going with the 1717 castle. I keep tuning in to your channel to see this thing in action!! Keep up the great work!

I can't wait to see it on 8s vas!!! That is a really nice super clean build. As someone who is very anal about my wiring I can appreciate all the planning and work that went into that truck. Been a huge fan of the channel for years and you never disappoint. Thanks

This is what I’m talking about, tHe only thing I don’t like is where is the suspension mounts to the a Arms. If it’s as tough as I think it is I will be doing this. I can’t wait to see your running video. That’s a very clean set up you have.👍👍

That truck is going to be a beast! Love your electronics choices! Remember to set your BEC to 7.4v to get the full 46kg out of the servo 👍👊💪

Great work mate, i learn so much watching these builds . Ive rebuilt plenty of old cars and this is not really not much different exept theres no rust and panels to make by hand that takes forever.

Much better then an Xmaxx. Whoever makes the Cen Colossus should do a 8s version for a price range of the Xmaxx. If i had not of chosen the Kraton and the money i put into it when this came out, i would of chosen this truck and copied you.

twinturbotony93 Yeah, I’ve heard of a lot of people using this brand of motors for speed runs with great success. Let’s hope it does well in this truck. 😁

I seem to remember recommending tp power usa's 4070 motor quote awhile ago on a Facebook q&a, lol. Make sure your batteries are ready to handle it, that motor is STUPID powerful.
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
+Bacon676 Haha. Possibly... I don’t remember when I got the idea for the TP motor, but I know it was influenced by social media. I’ve seen lots of people use it for speed runs and others use these motors for crazy powerful MTs, so I knew I had to try one of these motors. So far, I’m very impressed with the results and I may get more of these TP motors in the future.

You might want to use a couple of capacitors or a cap pack on your ESC. Long wires are hard on the build in caps. With some extra caps you give the ESC a longer life.

the max 6 hobbywing on 8s you only should only run 1200kv motor
@AussieRCPlayground7 жыл бұрын
+Walter Jackson Yes, but that’s with a 5892 1/5 scale motor and I’ve seen the Max6 powering small motors above 1200kv without issues, so I hope it works with this motor ok. Hopefully if I gear it down to reduce load, it will be just fine. 🤞🏼 Plus, I’m not planning on running this truck constantly on 8S, the 8S option is merely just to show how Krazy it can be. Worst case scenario, I’ll get another motor with lower kv and use this motor in a future speed car. 😉

see how many amps the 5892 motor pulls

The wires of the batteries to esc are quite long, it can cause them to overheat Especially on 8s... Have you noticed if they get too hot?
@AussieRCPlayground6 жыл бұрын
No heat issues to report.
