Center Stage Conversation - From PA to DGA with Josh Friedman

Welcome back one of our favorite speakers, Josh Friedman speaks about his experience as an Assistant Director, Producer and Founder of CrewMeUp, an online community connecting people and production with entertainment labor and resources to help climb the film industry ladder.
Joshua A. Friedman is a producer, DGA assistant director, Tech CEO, and author of “Getting It Done: The Ultimate Production Assistant Guide.” He started his decade-long career as a production assistant on “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” working his way into the Director’s Guild as an assistant director on “Person of Interest.” Mr. Friedman began producing in 2016 with the feature film “Warning Shot,” which allowed him to span productions both above and below the line. He most recently worked as an AD on Peacock’s “Doctor Death: Miracle Man” and as a Producer on the upcoming feature film “Birder.” His expertise in the industry led to the Creation of a free mobile App, Crew Me Up, a labor management system which bridges the gap between people and productions.
