I followed your instructions to a T and I was able to hang my paddle board by myself! Thank you for this ❤ My board is a foam paddle board and the rope was digging into the foam so i added pool noodle to where the rope dug in :) this was great!!!

For smooth cords and light loads, an eye bolt works as well as a pulley - and $ cheaper. Nice.

thank you so much for this. i just bought an SUP and i needed to hang it. it turns out my garage is too small to do it just how you do and also i'm too short to put it in how you do, but i figured how to do a slightly less elegant two pulley thing, but i knew how because you walked me through the rest. this is the first time i have ever had to put up anything like this and now i feel all rough and handy and stuff.

+ehrlenmeyerflask, Your kind feedback made my day. I'm happy to have helped. It sounds like the construction details were more helpful than the overall design. If you post any pictures or videos of your hanging system, send me a link. I would like to check it out.

+ehrlenmeyerflask Thanks for sharing. That does work well. By lifting the front first, the board cannot slide back because of the rope behind the tail fin. Then, you can raise the tail to get the entire board up out of the way. Great Job!

Good information but whoever is doing your camera work is making me sick and driving me absolutely crazy, it's distracting and frustrating to try and listen to what you're saying.
