CENTHRON - Dystopia (Official Music Video)

Nachdem ich jahrelang Centhron überwiegend auf KZbin konsumiert habe, habe ich letzte Woche zugeschlagen und mir 3 Centhron Alben gekauft. Zunächst Gottwerk, weil dieses Album dasjenige war, was mir die Band bekannt gemacht hat und das bis vor kurzem auch noch mein Lieblingsalbum war. Das Album war gar nicht so leicht zu finden, weil ich unbedingt die Originalversion haben wollte, die ich lieben gelernt hatte und nicht die Neuabmischung der V2, die klang beim reinhören doch leicht anders und das wollte ich jetzt nicht. Als zweites habe ich mir Roter Stern geholt, weil dieses Album beim Workout auf der Spinning Maschine so motivierend war und ist. Und zudem das Album Dystopia, von dem ich bis vor einem Monat nur das namensgebenden Lied kannte. Und ich muss sagen das Album ist der Hammer und mein neues Lieblingsalbum. Wirklich jeder Song sagt mir absolut zu. Absolutes Mega Album. Ich bin jetzt 45 und es ist vielleicht 10 Jahre her, daß mir ein Album so von vorn bis hinten gefallen hat. Leider kann ich weder im Familien- noch im Freundeskreis irgend jemanden von der Musik überzeugen, es ist allen "zu hart", selbst den "harten Typen". Schade, dann genieße ich die Musik eben weiter für mich allein. Grüße aus der Oberlausitz.

Bei mir im Bekanntenkreis ist auch so. Aber ja, nur einzelne Menschen können Kunst und Geschmack vom Centhron erkennen und damit genießen. Ich hab vor 9 Jahren mit Cyberlady angefangen und seitdem höre täglich überwiegend nur Ce. Es ist irgendwie eine Therapie 🤗

As mentioned by kidaria, check Die Krupps. Also I'd recommend Eisbrecher, KMFDM or Blutengel. Also there are some less known similar bands like Schramm (Mad Max inspired Postapo), Pulse (Space Industrial) or Accessory (EBM).

I'm glad to see my favorite band doing the best with what they have. 2020 was a dystopia for all involved and I can imagine making a music video at this time would be difficult. Of course the quality of music is unbeatable as always!

Thank you that you try to provide your fans with new content while being so limited! You are one of my three absolute favorite aritists and the ones I hear the most in qunatity. You have such an individual distinctive sound and you are the only ones in the whole aggrotech industrial EBM genre who never lost their hardness and bass whereas all others has gone soft or more pure techno expect agonoize/funkervogt. You are also really the only band with 80-100% awesome tracks on one album and not only 1/3 good, the rest okay and some not so good. Considering how popular you are especially few years ago when aggrotech industrial had been more popular I never understood why you often hadn't been placed that well at festivals time tables or why it always had been so hard to get good merch from you despite the design being so awesome especially the the allvater theme.

Super Band. Gefällt mir schon über einen sehr langen Zeitraum. Zwischendurch auch mal etwas weniger nach meinem Geschmack, aber insgesamt immer wieder genial. Meine ersten Centhron Lieder waren Sein Zeit Ende und Leichenreiter, gehören immer noch zu meinen Lieblingsliedern. Und jetzt dieser Song - defenitiv auch in meinen Centhron Top Ten. Top Lieder über einen so langen Zeitraum, das heißt die Band trifft bei mir ganz sicher einen Nerv. 😁👍
