Found a leak on a outdoor coil it was pretty easy to get to so to do some the aluminum fins off cleaned the area where the leak was wrapped it with soiled copper wire fluxed the area then solder it closed ran nitrogen thru pressure held vacuumed it down recharge system took me 2- 3 hr still running three years later some people will look at that as waste of time I now take care of all his rentals I could have sold him a brand new system maybe got the job now I have all his work

So by you opening up the service valves the pressure from the condenser is higher than the lineset side so that would mean your problem is in the lineset correct? If it was lower then it would mean the opposite?just trying to understand is all

The pressure went up when opening the valves. That means the pressure in the condenser was greater than the lineset and evap coil. Meaning the lineset and/or evap coil is losing pressure
