Has anyone else noticed their HS folding mirrors making a "grating noise" when locking and unlocking the car? They almost sound as if they are completely unlubricated. My car is just a month old. My second car, a Cupra Ateca, is silky smooth in comparison and that one is an older vehicle. My mother's car (Audi Q3) is 10 years old this month (wow time flies) and they are smooth also. That said, that's the only issue, and I am still amazed every day at the comfort, quality and value these MG vehicles offer. It's basically unheard of for the money they ask. MG have done an incredible job overall. Very good tutorial, thanks Jerry.

Thanks for your videos they are very helpful to me. I have a question unrelated to this video. I got MG ZS, top of the range model, two days ago. The first import to Serbia. I don't have the current outside air temperature on the infotainment screen. Can you tell me can I upgrade it myself or have I go to a dealership? I've seen some models of ZS have it. Thanks again.

The system can only be updated by the dealership.

Hi Jerry, hope all is well. It just happened today when i try to lock my MG HS Trophy via door handle button that the car beeps twice and does not lock the doors. Pressing the lock button of the key though still works fine.

To add, the door button works when unlocking but not when locking.

Hi Jerry, no one else seems to know, so I am asking you (the Godfather of MG knowledge). How much cargo can an MG ZST Essence carry in Kilos (not volume), and does it have to be run in at all before loading it up? Still loving your videos and thank you again.

Hi Chris, the GVM for ZST Essence is around 1750kg and the Tare mass for ZST Essence is around 1295kg. That means the net load capacity is around 455kg. This includes all passengers plus luggage.

Hello Jerry, I would like to know if these MG ZS 1.0T-GDI vehicles have the possibility to start the car via the key, as some other car manufacturers do, but I am also interested, of course, if the vehicles have active cruise control, real fuel consumption, so you can see how much in in real time, how much is the consumption and whether the vehicle has the option of all advanced systems like other vehicles from other manufacturers, and you can also see on the vehicle how many degrees the air conditioning is set to.

MG cars do not auto lock.

Thank you for the video, I have a question. I drive MG HS 2023, the central locking locks all the doors automatically when driving the car. I want this central locking to be turned off as I pick up many passengers, cannot keep unlocking the doors manually each time I pick up or dropp off passengers. I'm using the car for rideshare. Can I turn it off?

Not from factory setting. You can only look at aftermarket electrician to see if they can do something.

I have Subscribed your channel.i have a question regarding MG HS, one of the MG rear door is not fully Closed and i press the Lock Button on Remote of my MG and Car get locked even one of the rear door is still Open. As, you have mentioned in your video, MG should give a BEEP instead of getting Locked. Please, needs your guidance on this matter

You have the key with you. The boot has key sensor. If you lock the door and leave the key away. You won’t be able to open the boot then

Just locked my keys in the car by not opening the car but opening the tailgate and putting my bag that had my keys in and then closing the car, now im stranded .. 😅
