I have a 2,000 ford F-250 and runs like a champ! Its at 430,000 miles. It wouldn't start and had a whirring sound to try, found out the starter bolts got loose. Good thing I found that out before buying a new one and replacing it.

Bro, we are a cult following on our 7.3 l powerstroke. 2002 extended cargo van, 245,000 miles, replaced everything bro, new glow plugs, new injectors, new water pump, new radiator, new high pressure oil pump and low pressure oil pump, new gas tank, new fuel pump. New battery cables, 22 years of service bro. Never gonna let me 7.3 l go, ever, cult followers!! If you hear a 7.3 l diesel you know if it's healthy or not, it's sound is legendary and so consistent across the board, here is too another 20 years of service from the most simplest engine and the most driven on the road, over 2 million strong!! 7.3 or die!!

When its cold and the door is stuck, pull on the door at the bottom edge so the handle won't break. Luckily Superduty handles are easy to replace. Just bought my dream truck, 2000 F-450 4x4 manual, PTO dump 1/4" steel flatbed with drop down sides. I turned over 50,000 on the drive home from purchase in Spokane. 400+ mile flawless drive. I have had to replace the GP relay. I put in the White Rogers. Not a cold winter but I live down by Sunriver at 4500 feet. Great video!

This video motivated me to visit my truck and maintain it just for kicks and giggles. 7.3ls are definitely the best bang for the buck! Less power than newer trucks, but will definitely outlast them!

So the shaking of the motor means injectors? I got a 95 7.3. Smokes for like 3 seconds at start up but all in all, barely any blow by, no leaks, and doesn't smoke. I always wondered though why the engine shook like it did.

Easy check for diesel in oil, VERY IMPORTANT ON POWER STROKES AND DURAMAX. TAKE a paper towel, pull the dipstick, DROP oil on the paper towel. If there's a "halo" around the oil stain you have diesel in your oil. LOOK CLOSE!!!

Thank you for your buyers guide video one thing I would mention is look at battery cables since the 7.3 have 2 batteries and seem to have a lot to do with electrical issues cause 7.3 are fussy when it comes to sensors and relays n such. Again Thank you I did subscribe and it's nice to see Central Oregon again Miss the High Desert scenery.🌄🛻 keep on trucking 🤠
