Bless your soul...i love this tutorial on centrifuge casting...i recived my machine yesterday...i have to make a base and shield for it so i can start using it...soon soon....good idea for modeling flowers and i can make my mom a fine silver cast of one she can wear to the Kingdom Hall to praise JEHOVA

Great video, thanks! I had some questions. Your torch looks like an oxy acetylene torch, is that correct? I've been using one of those to try and melt my metal (I'm attempting to make a cast out of bronze right now) directly in the hooded crucible like you're doing, but while it melts the crucible quickly enough, it's getting the metal hot enough that it's melting right through my quartz crucible as well. Have you heard of that problem? Do you know what could be causing it, and how I can prevent it? Thanks!

Can you use a furnace to melt the metal, then pour it into the crucible? or does it need to be heated up in the crucible while on the centerfuge?

it is possible but more complicated because it would start to harden as soon as you poured it into the crucible

@@1soham1 You're right, I tried it last night and it hardened into a clump instantly, had my furnace at 961 degrees celsius, maybe that temp is too low, I also didnt have my crucible glazed.
