I had always wanted to try this method on a figure before, but I usually choose good QCed figures or just fix it without water. I finally tried it today with my brand new Neca Jungle Hunter Predator's wrist blades, and the plastic is so thin I just ran them under hot water for 30 seconds and bent them back out. They were bending inwards and are supposed to be spaced apart, so I separated them and now they look great. I am probably going to get this figure and maybe I'll get a good one, but If not the Predator was my trial run. Thanks for the walkthrough of the trick and that custom is amazing!

Great job. I hope the Book Of Boba Fett covers how he escaped the Sarlacc Pit, Legends he's him igniting the remaining fuel in his jetpack. This would account for his advanced aged appearance, scarring, and loss of hair. Prior to the Sarlacc, I would imagine he looked more like Jengo did in Attack of the Clones, a few more scars obviously. It appears you were going for more of a bald and scarred for this version. In the Mandalorian he should be in his early 40s, about the same age as his father in Attack of the Clones. What is your "in story" reasoning for his Mandalorian appearance during Return of the Jedi? You did a great job, I'm just trying to understand. Your face looks tons better than I could do!!!! Great details.

What’s wrong with the figure/helmet? I’m new to black series and I don’t understand what people mean when they talk about “fixing” figures...?
@CenturionsCorner3 жыл бұрын
So basically if you look at the figure compare it to the original photo, the helmet is pinched in, this this is due to the packaging so once it comes out its compressed, by heating it up the plastic reshape it'd self to its original mold design, also hasbro have decided rather than making a full moulded helmet they have been making sort of removable helmets that are then glued on a unpainted head underneath, normal collectors won't be able to remove the helmet as its not designed too, however this leads to twisted helmets where the glue has been missed placed and helmets stuck on the unpainted head in a way to make it deformed. Hope that helps
@carlo23843 жыл бұрын
not sure why people hate this figure? it's consistent with all other black series figures. what do these people expect? maybe they should get mafex, figuarts or hot toys and stop complaining 🤔 or, more likely, they'll complain anyway...

I think generally people may complain as there wasn't any official photos then he comes along all abit warped. But yeah people cancelling there orders will be kicking themselves
@carlo23843 жыл бұрын
@@CenturionsCorner It seems to come down to expectations. But is that the fault of the producer or the consumer? In 1980, what we got for Boba Fett was perfectly reasonable. But today, if the coloring is slightly off, if it doesn't scale quite right, or whatever - you'd think that someone shat in their cornflakes! Even some of these toy reviews sound like soap operas. Anyway, nice video - thanks.
