Steven Bellm she is still with Kamelot, she toured with Kamelot this year 2016 in Souh America and Europe but not all year, because of AE tour concerts, and she did three songs on Kamelot's new Album. came out 2015.Liar Liar, Revolution, and can't remember the 3rd. . To be honest, the occasional bit of clean vocals wouldn't necessarily be a terrible thing. Just a few lines in a bridge or as a backing part could add a new depth and contrast to AE's new album. What's the point in change, if nothing changes? I'm not saying the singing should be clean the whole time, quite the opposite, but a little bit of variety in might add a new dimension to AE.

Alissa works better in metalcore than death metal, IMO. That is in no way an insult to her either. I hate to have to compare the Agonist to Arch Enemy but it seems unavoidable. I much prefer the instrumentals in AE to the Agonist, simply because everyone's incredible what they do, the guitars in particular are magnificent. I also prefer Angela as their vocalist, only because she has a more brutal, cutting voice that fits the genre. Alissa is still fucking awesome too, and while I feel that she's still a solid replacement for Angela, she doesn't quite fit with AE's style as much.

It has nothing to do with gender. Just because they are both women doesn't mean I think they sound alike. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think they're both mezzo-sopranos in terms of range, but they have two distinctive styles. I know Angela and Alissa are friends and Angela picked her to be her replacement. Alissa has grown on me quite a bit since I posted that comment. And I meant no disrespect, it was just my opinion. I still believe that Alissa works better in metalcore than melodic death metal. That's also because her clean vocals are a great contrast against her growls.
