There was a huge falling out with her former band members of the agonist, and there are plenty of personal accounts of people finding her to just have a big ego. What I really like with Alissa's voice is how she manages to blend some slight melodic elements at some parts of her growling. For example, when she sings "foaming at the mouth" you can hear her growl envelop the melody of the guitars. Now we just need Alissa and Angela to do a collaboration.

As a man from a non-english speaking country, I often find the very funny sight of someone declaring their love by singing Hotel California to their potential couples.This song has a similar effect on non-english speaking people. The looks on their faces when I explain to them the song actually means the opposite of what they tought is priceless.

Angela Gassow is German not Swedish. The band is Swedish mainly because Michael Amott (the lead guitarist) is Swedish and both him and someone else (I think, don't know who, look it up if you want) founded arch enemy.
