There is a fine line between fun arrogance and annoying arrogance, and Riku&his friends crossed it in their stupid opening imo. The fact that everyone in the audience was screaming his name during the whole set made that even worse. I'm impressed Yaura kept his composure and played as well as he did.

There's no overarching tournament administration so Steve being banned is up to the person in charge of the tournament. Some tournaments have started banning him but most still allow the character.
