The mash at 1:43 is probably the best way to mash out of grabs/bury. You use your right hand to move the controller in a way that when you put your thumb on the control stick and keep it there, you will swirl the stick. Then you use the left hand to counter-rotate against the right hand's rotation with the stick and you can mash extremely fast! Really takes practice, but once you get it, you'll have people pummel you, let you go, and then turn around because they think they have a hold on you still. Funny af.

I can't confirm for sure, but I've had a similar weird knockback thing happen during a killscreen. I think it's related to trading with a move during a slowdown animation, which sometimes just makes you take virtually no knockback. unlike ICG which gives you no vertical knockback, for some reason whenever this happens to me, it just kinda makes me flop on the ground immediately, maybe pushes me forward a dozen units or so. I've never seen it with a clank before, but generally if it clanks you wouldn't get the slowdown idt since it detects whether you HIT the target. so basically, Popo's position has to be very specific so that it clanks with his uptilt but doesn't hit Popo (the move is too strong and will break through it normally) and Nana has to get hit with the move to trigger the slowdown. The only other thing I could think of is if it's an icies specific glitch and it has to do with Nana being "tethered" to Popo, but I've never seen it cancel knockback before so that seems unlikely.
