A matchup chart compiling professional Smashers' opinions that I found also had Duck Hunt between 46 and 54 against Greninja, Lucina, Luigi, Meta Knight, Ryu, and Villager. That same chart also had Duck Hunt beating Peach and Samus (who are starting to get improved reputations), but on the downside Cloud hard counters the duo.

What's sad is that Larry could have done so much better, but he does not adjust well even a couple of simple things. 1st, Raito would position the barrel so that he could back throw Larry into it. Then if Larry began attacking, he would sit on top of the barrel until Larry attacked--usually dash attack--and blow it up immediately to prevent a followup.
