That was the death across America tour! Cephalic Carnage, Origin, Vader, Deeds of Flesh....good times! Cephalic Carnage is awesome. Lenzig gave me a bud in Florida...…got me STONED. I also smoked out with him in New York City. I love all their records including Anomalies.

Love this band's entire discography. Anomalies is pretty high up ther for me but I think Lucid was the apex of their more full on Grind vibe and Xenosapian was them perfecting what they did w Anomalies. Mislead is just a continuation of Xeno imo which is fine w me. I'm constantly harassing band members ab a new album any time I have the chance to speak w one.

Oh, and there’s still hope for new Cephalic music. Nick, the bass player, is fairly active on KZbin, and he’s mentioned Cephalic a number of times. They play live a handful of times every year, including this one, but it seems like the constant drummer issues hold them back from getting the already written new tunes recorded.

I was lucky enough to see Cephalic in 2005 with Into the Moat at a shitty little dive club in Boise, ID. Was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever witnessed. Oh, and totally agree that Anomalies is their best. Easily.
