My “job” is doing whatever I choice to do. If that’s educating, detailing, reviewing, or putting people I their place, that’s my JOB AMD I will continue to do so as I please. The fact that people are enjoying our videos and loving our detailing services proves my point. You see when people are left unchecked such as these so called “detailers” who criticize, it will cause confusion and chaos in the industry. I will NOT stand for that. I will correct them when I see fit.

@@MirandaDetailing Dude you’re absolutely right! People forget that you’re not providing a free service, I get it there are other channels out there that focus on polishing paint behind the tail lights and plastic trim. But they’re either doing it for their own vehicle or they’re charging an astronomical amount of money to take the detailing to that level. For example some of the more insane details the Ammo NYC does he’s charging $10,000-$20,000, In which case as you mentioned his brand and demographic warrant those prices given the vehicles he applies those specific services to cost well over $1 million and some $10s of millions of dollars.

Thanks so much! We really try to make that apparent in our videos. Sometimes people want us to go 100% on vehicles when that’s NOT what the customer wants or needs or can afford. The “KZbin Detailers”, wile entertaining to watch and gain some tips from, have really flooded the minds of people with unrealistic expectations on everyday daily drivers that don’t need such extreme make overs. If our customers wanted to over pay us and want us to go above and beyond we can totally do that….but our customers don’t have the need or money for that. Thanks for the support!😎👍🏼

I think alot of people watch these asmr vids with people taping everything and recording everything over a period of a few days from every angle because like you said, it's their passion. That's cool but you tell it how it is. Daily life, working man (and woman) doing what they need to do and I'm sure your customers get exactly what they need according to their budget and your time. And I'm also sure, you'd go 110% if the customer requested and paid for it. Agreed with your comments regarding the perfection expectations that many detailers want to do. If you aim for perfection you will have to charge the customers 1000% more and like you said many of them won’t pay for it. I my case I’m ocd and try for perfection but I do it as a side gig and my customers love what I do and I don’t charge them that much since it’s not a business. In short, keep doing what you’re doing Phil, I enjoy the videos and they help me not to go crazy when I can’t achieve perfection sometimes.

you speak the truth in your videos, not all businesses work with supercars, most are daily drivers customers who want their cars to look good and have some protection, they will not pay for a full show car paint correction, some may, and like you said it depends on demographics and the market you have around.

Question, first off, thank you for all the knowledge you give, it does help a lot. To the question, after the All in One, do you wipe down using the Gyeon Prep or any other prep you have? Then apply any other “chemical” for that last touch, or apply that “chemical” right after AIO without the Prep spray. Basically , what are the do’s or don’t after AIO. Hope this makes sense! Again, thank you!
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks! Great question. With All In One polishes there is no need for using a panel prep. There is protection already built into the polish and it’s laying down protection on the paint. So you don’t need to use any panel prep to negate that. So we just use a spray sealant as a topper if we so choose.

Hi. Thanks so much and you’re welcome! Yeah people always love to be entertained, even if the info is tainted, bias, or just plain incorrect. Entertainment is cool and everything, but when people can’t distinguish between what’s real and what’s just for entertainment purposes it really confuses people.. The big detailing channels seem to just fill new detailers minds with false expectations, but I guess they just eat it up and regurgitate it upon others, and most times it’s wrong or dogmatic. There is an spta pad line VERY similar to the older rupes pad line ( blue-green- yellow-white-red). There is any case that you can help me....witch pad is the closest to LC orange from the spta line ( or older rupes line) ?? Thanks in advance

Hi Phil. Questions...my car has light swirls and scratches, what sort of pad would you recommend I use when applying the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Platelet Compound (1 & Done) to it? Also, please differentiate the differences between sealants, detailers, toppers and finishers. Thanks.
@MirandaDetailing6 ай бұрын
Hi. I would use the orange medium pad from lake country. Works great at reducing about 50-75% of swirls. As far as sealants go they are longer lasting products. Detailers are just for light tough up and maybe using as a topper on the sealant to add extra gloss or slickness. A finisher is usually a term for a finishing polish.

Sweet, Thanks for that Xtreme solution Gem, going to try it out. I work a lot in the sun and so far I use Sonax but with a spritz of water to sort of keep it cool. As far as “ priming “ the pad I stop doing it as well Waste of product if you ask me 3 dots like you did Dap the pad on the panel and the pad will be somewhat primed $300 for a exterior only on a SUV, for a all in one polish is a good price. That’s my price for a average sedan. Have you done anything to SPTA cordless ? How long does it last before you switch battery? I’m thinking of going cordless and based on Scott HD cordless review I might be going with the Kobalt. Not sure yet

Thanks man! We haven’t done anything with the SPTA yet. I was going to repack the head with better grease but haven’t gotten around to it yet. As far as battery life, it’s pretty good. I use about 4-5 batteries for a whole vehicle doing an enhancement. So that’s pretty good. We do have lots of batteries and chargers now. I wouldn’t go with that lovely. It’s not a 15mm throw like the SPTA. The SPTA has been one of the best cordless polishes we have tried so far.
