Ceramic Dome Cleaning and Maintenance Alps Water Filters

The ceramic dome is a key part of filtration of your Alps Water Filter. It completes the first stage of the filtration process.
Dome Ceramic Filter (0.2 micron): purifies water from rust, dust, sand, silt and bacteria such as cholera, typhoid and coliforms.
Requires replacement every 6 months, with proper care and maintenance.
Please note depending on the batch, the below care video with Peter can be relevant for a new ceramic domes, only if the water is taking longer than 2 hours to move through the filter.
Compatible with Zazen, Nikken PiMag & Nikken PiMag 10 Water Systems (not compatible with Nikken PiMag Waterfall)
