Building on the ceramic resonator regenerative receiver recently described this transmitter-receiver uses a 7.160 MHz ceramic resonator in a companion QRP CW transmitter. Housed in the same box as the receiver it allows operation in the bottom 60 kHz of the 7 MHz CW segment.
Note: At 2:26 there is some text in the diagram which may be unclear around the choke in the collector of the BD139. The text reads ‘3 turns choke FB’. It’s 3 turns on a 6 hole ferrite bead.
