Cerave Hydrating Cleanser vs. Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser

I was wondering why Cerave made a new type of hydrating cleanser. I have noticed that, the hydrating facial cleanser doesn't sell as much as their other cleansers. Which is why they decided to reformulate (my opinion).
I took it upon myself to try both cleansers and spot the difference(s).

Note: Cleansers in general partially take off makeup partially. I always advise one to double cleanse by first using a cleansing balm or cleansing oil before a going in with a foaming cleanser at PM. For AM routine, reach for a gel cleanser only.

I like that with your commentary I am able to make my own decision on what I prefer. You go so in detail, that u explain each products so clearly. And this time, I prefer the product opposite to what u liked, BUT it certainly is just a personal preference. I got the cream-to-foam cleanser but it’s really small, couldn’t get the bigger size so I’m considering getting the hydrating cleanser since it has a bigger size. I had no idea hydrating cleanser lathered. This makes me excited so I’m just gonna get it! Thanks Tamuno.❤️

Did you not need to rinse off? There's no way I could rub my facial and neck/décolleté areas like demonstrated- you're very lucky you can do that!!??!! I feel its best to wet skin and hands, friction the product between wet palms and gently stroke onto face and other areas. Good luck, thanks for demo

I'm not sure I get your question. For your morning routine, you can use the hydrating cleanser. For night routine, double cleanse by using an oil-based cleanser before going in with your preferred cleanser.

Sure you can use them interchangeably. Make sure to apply and reapply sunscreen during the day.

it’s not really good for removing makeup but the cream to foam is designed to be great at removing makeup ♡

Only you can make that decision. Whenever I use my face cleanser as a body wash, just know that I find it stripping or it's about to expire. * Or recommended for the body as well like Cerave Hydrating Oil Cleanser.

Yes you can. I have and it didn’t do no harm. After all it IS a cleanser.

They have specific ones in a larger bottle for the cleanser but I don’t see why as both ingredients are the same.
