Dude I started doing that and it really makes your skin smooth especially with the CeraVe Moisturizuring Cream. It absorbs matte so it doesn't leave a residue (which I don't mind tbh but other people do) but it leaves your skin smooth with no dry flakes

I have sensitive combo acne prone skin ... and I was using many different brands ... including expensive ones and even tried natural ingredients skincare products and they didn’t work either. And after doing so much research and finding out that many skin problems are due to having a damaged skin barrier, I decided to give the cerave moisturiZer a chance since it contained essential ingredients that repair your barrier ... and girl it worked like a miracle!! My face is so much smoother and softer! I hardly break out anymore!! My face just looks so clear, even my sister told me and asked what I was using. It’s so good I also bought the hydrating cleanser .. And that’s all I use! But I do plan to get other cerave products to add to my regimen because they truly work! But for now the cream and cleanser are doing wonders! Ps. Don’t let the price or name fool you!! _Lxllyy_ i know how hard it can be to find the right products!!! I’m now using Clinique oily skin cleanser with the pore refining solution hydrator on my forehead because it where I get super oily but it has worked wonderssssss in keeping oil in control. But I’m still using the cerave cream on my cheeks and chin because I’m super dry in those spots . Still doing wonders :) if you plan to use cerave cleanser , then use the foaming one which is for combo to oily or Clinique oily skin cleanser but they also have acne products. I will tell you that Clinique has amazing products that workkkkk. I hope you find the right solution ! :) don’t give up. !!

luh4l hey!!! I used the foaming one for combo to oily!!! And I used the cerave cream. The lightweight lotion and cerave cream work the same!! I suggest you also use an spf!! And if you have combo to oily skin like me .. I highly recommend Paulas Choice Super Light Wrinkle Defense Lotion SPF 30!!!!!! It leaves your face shine free /matte all while protecting your skin!!!!!!! :)

The cerave cleanser Feels like a film on my skin and just like I'd put moisturizer on my face and afterwards rinses it off, so I use the african black Soap to cleanse and then I go in with my cerave moisturizer and I LOVEEEE ITTTT 🥺😍

At first, I grabbed the foaming instead of the cleanser. It did work a bit but then I started breaking out. So I stopped using it. A few days ago I went back to Walmart to get the cleanser (I had the lotion and the cream already) and I used it 2 nights ago, I didn’t use it last night cause I was tired. But today my friend said my face was clearing up a bit, and even said she’s gone try this too, she doesn’t have a skincare rn cause she was still trying to find a skincare, but I’ll send this video to her to try. But ty! Like I said, she said my face was clearing up, and my stepmom said my face was clearing up. I’m definitely gone keep using this skincare routine

Daisy Rivas It does the same for mine only so your face wont be so dry once you use the cleanser. Its trying to make sure your face keeps some Moisture to it so it wont be too dry. But it is overly oily then I recommend just using the lotion instead of the moisturizer.

I already use the Cerave moisturizing face wash & the lotion and I love it. I'm just glad that I finally have a skin care routine & that the Cerave products last me for months. Adaeze Okeh The lotion can mostly be used for when your face feels very dry after washing with the cleanser. And afterward the moisturizer is only used for my pimples to make face feel more balanced as a extra protecting coating. You don’t need both but they both get the job done .

Tabarak Ghafer No i don’t use sunscreen on my face that doesn’t work for my skin. And I regularly don’t use both , most times i use my moisturizer. They actually are both different though the lotion gives your face a good fresh cleanse as if your face were dry and the moisturizer gives your face a fluffy coating as a protecting barrier throughout the day. But its up to you if you are wanting to use both either one will do. 👍🏾
