Hi, working experience from any organization is accepted as far as I know, it can be from a full time job, part time job, internship and volunteering work.

Chevening scholarship is not asking for IELTS test this year, to get unconditional letter you must apply to the university directly.

Hi there. Thank you so much for the video. I came across Chevening scholarship this summer and wanted to apply but then I realized I need at least two years of work experience. I graduated in July and thank God got a job in October so hopefully will be able to apply to this scholarship in 2021. I wonder if getting a certificate for English was quite complicated? I've never done anything like that, since my major is actually English Language and Literature..

No, it's not complicated at all. Just find an institution in your country that provides certified IELTS test

I'd say the best thing to do is to apply for universities in parallel of your Chevening application. The process of Chevening Scholarship after submitting the online application takes around 6 months, and falls during the period when universities open their admission.

Halo, mungkin yang dimaksud adalah kamu harus submit nama dan emailnya dua orang yang akan jadi referee kamu. Penjelasannya di website tertulis seperti ini: " You must supply the names of two referees when you submit your application. If your application is progressed to the next stage of the process, you will be required to upload two reference letters to the online application system by 12:00 GMT (noon) on 25 February 2020." Jadi, kamu harus tetap memasukan nama dan emailnya sesuai dengan petunjuk di online form nya sebelum submit. Please check link ini ya, www.chevening.org/scholarships/guidance/references/

I am still on the lookout to select the three courses from the different universities to compete for the Chevening Scholarship Award, could you help me with the following questions: If I´m not mistaken the top of the tuition fee covered by Chevening is 18,000 pounds, correct? (As of 2022) The majority of the universities have different fees for local students and international students. In this case, if I am a Chevening recipient will I be charged as an international student? Because usually, the international fee exceeds the 18,000 pounds limit. I like your orientation regarding to the Chevening scholarships. But my questions is language certificate. Is mandatory a language certificate for applying Chevening scholarship ?? because the payment is high to take the exam. For example, let me tell you in our country case the payment is exceeding 10000 ETB (Ethiopian birr). Hence , this is very difficult to pay them.

Hi, most Master's program in the UK lasted for 1 year, it literally takes about 1 year from orientation to the submission of your dissertation. So, you probably only have around 3 months to do the dissertation.

By taking some time off. Read motivational book. Remind myself that life is more than just scholarship while telling myself that my self worth is not just based on these scholarships. Self love helped me in getting my motivation back. Good luck!
