Cerro Gordo Ghost Town part 4: Long days and rough roads

Enjoy a few more behind the scenes moments! From burying what was left of the old hotel to rattling the door off of the 5 ton. This is another look at just how long and rough the days were up at old Cerro Gordo.

I pretty much Live vicariously through videos like this. I initially started watching Brents channel because I used to go into all kinds of old mines. Also I ran heavy equipment and drove some truck too. In 2012 I was in a motor vehicle accident hit two cows at night in NV desert.. Now I am in a wheelchair someday I'll get back in an excavator. I enjoy your videos because they're real.. Unlike some of the drama I remember discovery pushing on Gold Rush set, ..

I’m paralyzed in a wheelchair so just be happy that one day u will get out of the wheelchair at least. Sorry for ur injury but u need to look at it that way. Instead of being down, look around and see ur in a lot better situation than a lot of people sir.

I continue to explore the videos, that are shown from Ghost Town Living, Wild Wild West, HeavydSparks, Visitors, CBS, NBC, TikToc and others, that have helped to create such a deep interest and passion with many followers, which includes me. This puts a more complete picture of the time and work put out to help. Hours and hours among all the hangups and disrruptions to began and finish a massive job that was undertaken through many volunteers and the work isn't done. Will it be, probably never... I am glad to see that the Old American Hotel will be rebuilt and her old ashes from the fire will remain, being buried on the property. Keeping that part of History still present on the grounds.

Wow! Thanks for letting us see the whole road down, in every video I've seen so far on other channels they only show the narrow parts down in the bottom and some from up around the houses. This video really show how tiny the road is and how high up you are, and how far down you fall if you slip of the road... 😬 Cheers from Northern Sweden 🍻

This is not a knock on anyone, but I think I enjoyed your Cerro Gordo finale over Heavy D's. It is a little chaotic, but it helped fill in some of the gaps I missed from Heavy D's. I better understood what you guys were doing to prep prior to the pouring. Everyone who helped were incredibly sincere in their efforts, and it comes through even more after watching this. Amazing stuff! Keep it up.

Can you guys didn't fill up the tank water tank on the truck and use that way it holds 100 gallons you guys just have to pump that water into the tank and use the tank on the truck the water it down unless you guys didn't list it wasn't working but yeah usually it's 100 gallons well have a good day nice week God bless you all

Good question. Id guess it was about $1,500 worth of scrap. Nearest yard is too far away. Wouldn’t be much money left over by the time we loaded and hauled it all to the city with the price of California diesel.
