Instead of heavy boning, I used box strapping from walmart. They were kind enough to give me some they had cut off boxes (normally they just throw it away.). It works well for small doll corsets and panniers, etc.

I crochet a Crinline doll motfit for my sister. I put it on a 12" hoop. I painted a meadow and attached little flowers that matched her hat and dress.
