Liara T'soni is one of my absolute favorite companions across the video games I've played. I hope to romance her again if possible in the new Mass Effects.

I always romanced her. IDK why. She is smart yet innocent in first game - that's probably why. And despite ME3 underwhelming ending, I do wait for new ME game. Didn't play Andromeda, because I heard it's substandard. Thanks Rick!

I finished andromeda twice now, it is amazing, at least visually, and the exploration/terraforming part. they fixed a lot of things broken in me1(and not even included in me2-3), but the story is basic. Great game, just not a great mass effect game!

It's cause her romance is bugged. You need to pick the middle option during the first rejection otherwise the game doesn't acknowledge you rejected her.

In mass effect yes. In all of science fiction? Idk I have not read enough to make a comment. Second best is probably going to Miranda lawson. EDI Also has alot of development and so does wrex and mordin. But liara is still probably the best character or garrus. Romance wise for a paragon mshep I think Miranda all day every day or liara. Renegade male shep is probably Ashley maybe? Never really done one of those runs. Femshep is garrus or liara.

Perhaps Lazarus technology is an over the counter pharmacy technology in this time. She goes to the local corner store, buys cold medicine, toothpaste, and a box of Lazarus tech, puts a few drops of it on the helmet fragment....instant naked Shepard. He/she says "We'll bang, Okay?". They get it on, Asari and human style. Hopefully, we see in a 5 minute 3rd person cut scene. Then off together to face new adventures, and additional banging.

It would be absolutely wonderful with the upcoming new ME game if they handled it as having the hidden/"best" ME3 ending as the canonical one, perhaps with some player choices added in as options. But, I also think it would be fantastic if they *did* somehow keep Shepard around and alive, if even just for the first half of the new game. Not as a playable character, but as this game's equivalent to Anderson in ME1. Given the fact that we know Asari can artificially enter different stages of their life earlier or later if they wish and the fact that Shepard was at least to some degree significantly augmented by cybernetics, even with the supposed AI destroying pulse at the end of ME3 I could see him, presuming he survived, living significantly longer than most humans. Particularly if the galaxy was a bit more peaceful for a time afterwards. I think it would be amazing to see your old Shepard come back pulled from your ME3 save file at the beginning and act as a mentor of some form for a while introducing you to the world you now live in. At the very least it would be nice to have maybe some of the old characters still lurking around, even if they only have minor cameos once or twice in the game. Also, would be fun to see a Normandy SR3 still somehow kicking around... Perhaps finally with the option to actually paint it and rework the interior somewhat.

Liara could definitely be alive in the time frame of Andromeda even. Asari can live for almost a thousand years. Liara was 108 in mass effect 2

If you play the game in the hardest setting, and at ghe end after the credits, you can see shepherd is alive, wounded But alive.

One thing that I don't think gets enough credit vis a vis Mass Effect worldbuilding: it is the only scifi universe I'm aware of where the names of homeworlds and the names of species are ALWAYS different, as they would be.

I don't think BioWare will choose a canon ending. I think they will set it far enough in the future and just say whatever changes synthesis caused, the species of the Galaxy developed on their own either from controlled Reapers or the remains of Reaper technology after they were destroyed

Noticeably older Liara? Doubt that. How can you tell from the short, almost-from-behind shot of her face? Also, if you pick the "Destroy" option in ME3, you see that Shepard survives, so I think that there's a chance he/she could still be alive.

Thanks for this video. Even as someone who played all games (without that mobilefone shooter), reading tge main series books, comics, watching the movie it was a bit new stuff for me. Plaese EA let Bioware handle that without MicroDLC fixation or forced muktyplayer... and please Bioware please remember who Liara is. Liara is one of my alltime kick ash favorite female characters. Despite the fact that she ages different than humans we see her grow up in a sense. Its hard to imagine which way she will follow because her past is so diverse and if the call is needed she follows or even make it. Without Shepard she fought her way up to a point that the mightiest entety in the Galaxy (despite the Reaper), felt theburge to keep an eye on her. She is ambitious but yet ass said still compassionate. She is an an idol for tge series and what made the ME Trilogy great. An organic character driven development of said characters. Not a narrative demended evolution without a believable character. I realy hope Bioware and EA do not simply use her lost family members/friends as her only motivation.

nice video one thing I haven't agreed with anyone on is what ending they will use. Its not there choice but ours, it is to easy to make your choice matters chapter one of all three endings and after we learn the controls of the new game in chapter one what ever ending you choose the game starts. It would make for three different play throughs much better

Buy ME3, play it once, then play ME2 and import to ME3, then ME1 import to ME2 and ME3; Add some DLCs through the next round, add all DLC on the next round, add some mods on the next round, add some more/other mods on the next round...

The 'destroy' ending is 'stop one genocide by causing another genocide' making it meaningless. The control ending only delays the war between organic and created life. The synthesis ending finally ends the cycle.

My Shepards have always worked bloody hard to save everyone, knowing damn well they can't save **everyone** and it eats away at them as the series progresses (Jenkins, Ash, Mordin, Thane, Miranda somehow don't know how I f*cked that one up, the Elcor possibly their diplomat seemed pretty bleak about the numbers saved), but he/she will be DAMNED if at the final moment they'll choose to kill the Reapers in an act that (canon) also kills *all* AI in the galaxy including the Geth (who are at peace with and helping the Quarians rebuild, which might kill the Quarians too depending on how integrated into their suits the Geth are) and my quasi-daughter Edi (plus I'm not doing that to Joker who doesn't even know his sister is dead and I had to hear the gory details omg that was depressing). I'm in full agreement. Destroy ending is shite. But, let's be honest, it's almost certainly going to be canon. Because every AAA is going to be very formulaic and Destroy is the most pedestrian and easiest to work with from a storyboard perspective. Synthesis is a very fairytale happy ending so that's right the eff out (making all my sheps efforts and heartache completely meaningless), Control would be interesting but runs the risk of being written as Reaper Invasion 2: The Shepard God Glitches Out. Not choosing red green or blue, well, ends the series period. All they could do there really is tell the tale of a galaxy slowly dying as the Reapers work uncontested after the failure of the Crucible and the Council Races' defeat at the Battle of Earth. No, Destroy ending is where they'll go so it's a question of how much damage was wrought upon the galaxy, what races survived, and who besides Liara lived to tell the tale.
