I would add to the X-Factor for the Tissot is the watch is completely monochromatic except for the splash of the color orange, almost hidden in the band's stitching and the "Swiss Made" font. This simple addition of color both pops and ties the strap and face together in a manner that speaks to me.

Very creative way to compare 2 very beautiful watches! I'm not personally a fan of roman numeral dials so the Certina would've lost a point for that if I were the judge, plus the black ink dial on the Tissot is much bolder and more striking IMHO, making it much easier to read at a glance. I bought the black one with orange stitching from Aliexpress. The quality was equally as good as the ones Tissot provide, but for a fraction of the price. Thanks for watching

Not sure what you mean. It changes like any other automatic watch. I have sold it now, but it was a great watch

I don't understand how the bracelet version of the tissot is $100 usd cheaper than the leather version, it's the first time I see that happen. Could someone explain it to me? Thanks!

I think it's because you are comparing UK prices with US.

You have to take into account this particular Tissot was never intended for American release. So, if you're looking at the watch through the grey market the prices will swing wide from site to site and even from month to month.

Both are good watches, the tissot steel bracelet feels big and bulky after I got mine, tissot is better value in US grey market

Nice, but I'd say that the Certina got 61 points and the Tissot 64 - not that it changes the conclusion. Sadly Tissot seems to have taken that version of the Couturier out of their line up by now.
