The way u installed the FD and rd cables, U make it looked so effortless and easy. But really there are so many key points to it. Also the trick to run guide hoses w the FD cable when removing it, that itself saves the hassle to rerun a new cable in. That makes it fun of doing it right during the build and truly makes the different. Learn a ton watching.

Good morning, Bikespeeds 👋.A mighty fine bike the R3, and a superb transformation! 👏.... In 2021, I sold 😕 my beloved Cervelo RS, I bought it as a frameset in 2011. Putting on a full Dura Ace groupset and Mavic Kyrium RSYS SL wheels, a scott integrated carbon handlebar & stem, a zoncolon saddle......The white frame white the black and red decals......a stunning bike If I may say so ! and light.....6.4 kgs including pedals. Many happy cycling miles......easily over 60,000. A great bike for my sportives full distance triathlons, training and even winter miles!

Oh this was fantastic. Getting my 2009 S1 refurbed next month whilst I am away cycling in France (I am based in the US). I was pretty shocked at the grime on this on - wow - I wash/rinse mine almost every week with a full-on wash once a month. A clean bike is a fast bike. When I bought mine, I paid around $2600 and have put maybe $1000 into it (new saddles, Favero power pedals, new rear cassette, new big ring), but getting ready to replace the crankset from FSA to Ultegra (11sp) and a new, 38mm handlebar instead of the 40. I wish there was a decent swap for the hoods, shifters - the flight decks aren’t adjustable so I have quite a reach to the brakes in the drop. The older Cervelos are worth the effort/money - I am still the fastest on the decent without much effort! Why drop 10K when you can still ride the original. Thanks for posting these.

That's a 2013 R3 105. I have one size 58. The only real shortcoming with them were the Shimano R500 wheels they came with, but those were an easy to swap out as finances allowed and they did their part in keeping the purchase price of the bike affordable. I've since replaced the 105 drivetrain on mine with 6800 Ultegra which made a great bike even better. Thanks for the video!

They are pretty easy to change. On my mtb it works fine but have to replace bearings about every 2 years. And thats dry condition riding. My threaded bottom brackets dont require replacement as often.
