I've watched numerous cervical topic videos. Informative video for any patient and clinical professional. Dr. Geisinger is definitely on the top of my list for spine surgeons.

Hello doctor. Can I ask. I have numbness and loss of sensation in my both palms along with some relative mild muscle weakness in my fingers. It feels like I have pressure in my palms making it a bit difficult to move my fingers. I also experience tightness in the diagram, balance problems and hyper reflexes in my legs. When I move my neck it feels like a nail of sort push in the spinal canal then I get light uncontrolled movements in fingers, weakness in hands and feet It have a constant feeling of vibration in the lower part of the body. also sometimes when I lay down and try to sleep it feels like I’m drowning. I’m scared I suspect myelopathy but I can’t do any surgery do to another condition called Tourette’s which cause tics and spasm and the source of the damage in my neck Can I survive whiteout surgery? I’m scared and I don’t know what to do.

This is a typical response from a surgeon. He only has one tool in his toolbox, that is surgery. There are many examples of people recovering from cervical myelopathy using simple at-home adjustments and also with some conservative Chiropractic.

Swetha, can you please let me know what exactly happens during gait disturbances. Is it a feeling of dizziness or is it inability to place one foot after that other while walking or climbing down stairs. Is your husband able to walk without assistance ? Thank you very much, savita

@@neetujogi8087 I started have issues in my early 40s. Years of misdiagnosis, finally got correctly diagnosed at 53, surgery the same year. Definitely not physically what I used to be but I can still golf. Sleep in a recliner, stretch alot, can't walk long distances, stand more than 15 minutes, poor balances and weak left leg.

@@bphillips422...Sounds like the surgery was not the best idea.
