The VE series gets a bad wrap because they were at the beginning of the cheaper made CVs. With that being said they really aren't as bad as most people think. Do I think they're as good as the earlier models made before them? I would have to say no but that doesn't mean their terrible. Also, some of the earlier models weren't perfect either. Some of them came with major flaws and others not so major but either way everyone has their favorites for their own reasons.
