Cesar Fortes-Lima: the three thousand-year odyssey of the Bantu

So much focus on nuts and bolts and little on the learnings from the paper. I’m lost in the trees. My only takeaway is that there was a Bantu language speaking group that essentially replaced every other population group south of Cameroon some four or six thousand years ago. Do I have that right? Who were they? What happened to the earlier people? Any clues as to why this migration happened and how they so dominated other groups? A link to the paper would be welcomed.

I would have loved the author of the paper, to speak on the paper more. Razib… you did most of the talking🤔😑

I don`t agree. Cesar spoke far more than Razib, and I think that Razib`s interventions clarified and complemented what Cesar said.
