selectra Dogs need the same kind of training no matter their size. The reason I’m more nervous around small dogs than around big dogs is that the small ones often haven’t been taught how to be assertive without being aggressive. The one small dog I know who I am very comfortable with is an old, almost deaf bitch my sister and her wife look after when the owners are travelling. She’s the calmest - and softest - dog I have ever met, and she seems to like me as well. To aid that, I try to avoid towering over her, and let her smell me before I try to touch her, especially since she can’t really hear me. When she starts to lick my hand, I take that as permission to pet her.

Actually to be honest sometimes I thought Caesar forgot Molly is blind. It's really easy because she makes really good eye contact. No shade or anyting that's an observation. But I highly doubt Molly would get offended considering she has a whole Spiel she did on a video about how she still says look and see and watch and words like that because it would just sound weird if she tried to change her entire vocabulary to represent her blindness.

People need to calm down about Cesar saying things like did you see that when Molly is blind. 1. There were multiple other people there who are sighted so he was also doing it for them. 2. It's a force of habit, he probably has never met a blind person before. No one is going to be perfectly changing their habits in the first few minutes of meeting someone. They're bound to slip up a little. So just calm the hell down, he wasn't doing it to offend her. So stop reading so much into the situation.

I lost my dog in March, but we had that same kind of connection; we would've done ANYTHING to keep each other safe. (And if it was close to the slur your thinking of it wouldn’t be that strange since it’s derived from the word for the colour black in many European languages, just not the Germanic ones)

Yes! This was a great video. It's interesting how some dogs can have a negative experience like that and have such a fear of doing that thing again. My dog fell off a leaf covered bank into a deep river and couldn't get out and we had to get in and rescue him (he wasn't in rushing water, just couldn't climb out anywhere and was submerged to his chest on the side trying to keep from going under because he had Never swim before) and when he got out he was totally fine. Hasn't affected him one bit. My dad's dog on the other hand, he remembers and is affected by Everything. Also, the quiet narrating 11:00 during what Gallop was doing put a smile on my face. :)

He's never updated his understanding of dog behaviour, still working off old dis-proven (by the very scientist that first described it) descriptions of pack hierarchy and interaction. Basically he's gets results because he bullies the dogs into doing what he wants, rather than leads or working with their natural behaviour.
