I met Cesar while visiting family in the UK during the Olympics, he was filming something on the street and we recognized him. We all took photos with him. I was in a bad place in life, struggling inside and when we said bye to him, while walking off he screamed "Smile girl!!" to me. I will never forget that, it felt like he really saw me even though we spoke only for minutes.

I didn't know anything about his divorce, loss of his business or attempt at suicide and it really saddens me. I have always loved Cesar and his instinct at how to deal with dogs. I think it was him years ago that said there are no bad dogs only bad owners that do the wrong things with their dogs. I respect him and wish him well and hope he can move on from all this negativity that was bringing him down.

Cesar helped me with a difficult dog. She was really tough but Cesar in his DOG WHISPERER programs taught me how to deal with her. She turned around to be a very sweet, loving dog. Thank you Cesar! If you really like dogs you'll try to understand their behaviour, you'll learn to communicate, you'll learn by experience, you'll learn to be patient, you'll learn about your own behaviour toward your dog. About 15 years ago, I bought my son the entire DVD set of The Dog Whisperer for his birthday. My kids and I watched every episode together and would discuss it afterward. My son is now 28 and still loves working with dogs. Recently at a party, he went outside by himself with a dog that was very aggressive. No one else dared to go out, especially since he had bitten before. After about 20 minutes, he was playing ball with the dog and they were great friends. All of that started because of Caesar Milan.

I simply love this man, his integrity, his energy and his love for helping animals. I have learned so much from him. I have three rescue dogs now and I used to have four Rottweilers that I trained using his methods. I also used to volunteer training dogs at a local dog rescue. i remember feeling sad over Cesar's grieving over the loss of Daddy, the divorce with his wife, the end of Dog Whisperer on NatGeo Wild, then Junior died.. so many life changing moments. he will always remain undisputedly the original El Perrero to me, and I'm always amazed by him, and he continues to inspire me, because it's not just dog psychology but also rehabilitation of humans. he is legit, a natural, sincere, and profound.

Did not realize any of this. The positive energy that Cesar has put out has always come through his smile, especially when he is with the animals. I have basically cut supposedly friends and family who have brought me to depression out.

Cesar states something so true. There are so many entitled people that have never experienced living outside of America and they claim America is evil and haven't a clue what it is to live in many parts of the world where "struggles" really exist. Cesar is a living testament of the great country we live in where anyone can succeed if they try and put effort in it.

The haters will always be there sadly. Most of them are just in it for the money or to feel superior because their own lives are missing something. Your show was a great light for so many of us. As a retired pet sitter, I can tell you I used some of your techniques in my business and impressed even myself at how this whole dog/human relationship works. This is why you need to pay a top legal eagle to scrutinise and go over every element of “any contract you sign”. The record industry, film industry, building industry etc…is full of stories similar to this. A contract isn’t worth the paper it’s written on if you are not 100% certain what you have signed and agreed to. Stay strong my friend. The world needs people like you in it. Had the pleasure of speaking briefly with Cesar when working for an answering service in NYC a few years ago. I knew it was him by his voice. When I got to the "your name/your number, please" part, I told him I couldn't wait to tell my mother that I took a call from him as we were both big fans. Caesar, I have 2 rescue dogs now (and have 3 that have gone over the rainbow bridge) that are and were in a happy, healthy family and have thrived because of the knowledge that we have learned from watching your show over the last 20 years. You have had such a positive impact on my family’s lives and the amazing dogs that we have rescued. Never forget that you need to give yourself permission to love yourself and allow others to love you. You are worthy and deserve to be loved.
