I couldn't agree more. It's a love story for sure of pure love...unconditional love from them to us. They are so innocent and pure. Dog is God spelled backwards, just think about that for a sec. I have 2 dogs that I don't know how I'll live without...just kills me inside. I just love them so much!

Experience has also taught me that this is often the case. My 'problem' dogs have taught me (along with Cesar's videos as to how to become a more calm, assertive 'owner') how to be a far better 'owner' for my dogs.

@@liisaks1 i too have been taught by not my own dog, but a dog i often take care of. She used to be such a mess, neurotic, lunging at every thing and every dog UNTIL i learned how important my own energy really is. I thought you can "cheat" a dog by acting calm but they just know. She's now 10 years and she's been coming to me since she was 4. I kind of trained her, the owner said she's really like a different dog and the owner wants me to take the dog often because she knows the dog really enjoys her time with me. ❤️ I never knew you can get so attached to a dog that isn't yours or you haven't raised, but here we are. She's taught me so much! ❤️

Our Pit Bull passed 15 years ago. He was a guardian angel, I can express him in no other terms. He grew up my two kids and was my best friend. Some of my most treasured memories were walking along the beach with him on Friday nights and just sitting in the sand with my arm around him before we would head home for dinner. A few years ago I nearly died, I was about as close as you could get but I was never really worried because I know he'll come for me when it's my time.

Still getting over my pit mix I lost nine months ago. Johnny Cash was a wonderful boy. He was a gentle giant, as he was half pit, a quarter Rottie and the other quarter a border collie-cattle dog cross. So loving, playful and friendly to all, while still taking his protective role seriously when the moment called for it. The best dog I've ever had. Finding this video so shortly after my lab/shepherd mix died at the age of almost 13 it made me cry again. Not just for Knight but now also for your Junior. We know getting getting a dog they are not going to live forever. Knight was born right into my hands because I had his mother. He was over 100 pounds and a gentle giant - I called him my Knight in shiny black fur. The one Consolation that we have is that we know our dogs have been happy with us, they never went hungry thirsty or cold and we always loved them but at the same time they gave us so much more - love loyalty and companionship and they never disappointed us. I am crying for Knight and now also for your Junior

@@mgarcia2445 He was a lab/Shepherd mix and I also had his mom who died when she was almost 15 had his sister the runt in that litter and she died at 9 from kidney failure and she and Knight had a little one together (my landlord wasn't watching) and he died of the same thing. They are only with us for a shirt period of time but they give us a lifetime of Love and loyalty

Damn... another great dog to me gone. I know no one will see this comment, but my own dog used to belong to my father, and he left her with my uncle, he couldn't take care of her so he was going to put her down, that's when I stepped in and got her out of there, she had unkept fur and was over weight when I got her, I got her to a silky smooth coat and a healthy weight. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I'll walk out my room and expect to do my normal routine with her, but she's always no longer there by my door, waiting for me to take her for a walk. She passed due to a cancer growing in her jaw, when she was about 12 years old we took her to the vet for a lump on her jaw and they confirmed it to be cancer, and she'd only survive for a few more months.... until that time came, I would continue our routine and be happy with her, and as it turns out she lasted almost 2 years, until she was too weak to continue, and with that, she had met her last summer.... she left the world in a tight embrace, my embrace, as I hugged her until I felt her go limp there on that vet table.... I didn't dare shed a tear for her at the time, and kept her on a leash, until we placed her into her final resting place, there I would unlatch her color and with a wavering voice, would tell her spirit to go, to be free to play in the fields around us as long as she wanted to... I took the leash with me but I left her with her collar on, as that was her identity.... I hope you're still doing well out there, Niska, my precious puppy. "Being missed so deeply is the price for being loved so much."

That’s exactly what I was remembering. Daddy was such an amazing dog. When Junior came along he was just adorable and Daddy was such a wonderful role model for him. It was sad when Daddy passed. My Great Dane Loki passed a little over a week ago and it's like losing a child. He was 9 yrs old. We were all outside and my son was throwing the ball and Loki just collapsed and died within minutes :( I knew he was getting to be an old dog. I remember watching the episode when you got Junior and that playful way he lifted his front legs so high while walking with you and Daddy. It’s the highest price to pay for loving a dog! Heartbreaking. I lost my two pitbulls; Chino in 2015, and have not gotten past that, and Brie in 2022, my heart is broken. I have since adopted another pitbull, Journey, who fills the void. But every time I lose a dog a piece of my heart goes with them. Cesar, you are a wonderful, kind and loving individual. My first dog died last week. Losing my dog has to be the hardest thing I ever have to go through but even with all of this pain, I want to give love to every dog that needs it, just like how my sweet little boy needed it. The beginning of his life was rough but after 2 and a half years with him, he became a completely new dog and he made me a better person. I will never forget you Casper ❤️ I love you buddy! Daddy, Junior and Cesar helped me be the right parent to my beautiful soul Beau rescue from a neighborhood abuser. We had 10 wonderful years together, and he actually helped rehabilitate people here where I live, in other states I visited and in the friends from Europe to get a new perspective on what a Staffie is all about. Beau changed so many hearts from thinking Pitties and Staffies were anything other than the loving supporting and docile best friends they are born to be. He healed college students (my neighbor asked me if she could bring him to college for her thesis.) He became a friend to my mother in law who changed her attitude and love for dogs to include a Staffie. I'd walk Beau down the street and neighbors would talk to their dogs "why don't you mind me like that?" and I'd say "Watch Cesar" (I did not tell more than 3 neighbors - "watch Cesar Millan" I was in Germany once and my friend's family wanted me to visit a farm that had a horribly reputed dog that would bite off your face. I visited the farm. The pup was tied up on less than a 4 ft lead. I recognized the symptoms of the pup and knelt with my back towards it while the family kept yelling don't do that, he will maul you. (In German) But knowing what I'd learned from several seasons of Cesar, I allowed the pup to be calm and submissive by showing I was not a threat. That pup followed us around the farm for over an hour and stayed at my heel. When we went to dinner that evening my German beautiful family was babbling about how I tamed the shrew, (a miracle apparently) another table was listening and all I said was "I learned my best person from Cesar Millan" and a table across the room understood "Cesar Millan" if nothing else mattered because that was the magic pill. I've not been back in quite a few years. The family did let me know the pup that was so protective of everyone but the two I had in my extended family did not trust anyone but those two whom were on our pack walk. Cesar has transcontinental influence for those of us that love pups and their integral part of our lives.

I lost my dog a week before Christmas just gone she was 14 years old Patterdale cross lakeland...it broke me..she has been the most important part of my life and a constant in my life through all my heart break and my illness...😢😢one amazing little girl...rest my darling gertie ❤

I got a dog in 2006, when I was 16 and I have watched Cesar Millan ever since then. My dog also passed 10 days before Junior. Its been easily one of the hardest experiences of my life. I'm sorry for your loss Cesar, thank you for everything and thank you for everything to Daddy and Junior.

I watched this when it first came out and cried. It popped up in my feed again after recently losing my husky I rescued, Mopar. Now I'm watching this again when the freshest eyes and ugly crying. When I got Mopar, he was in such a bad state, so unbalanced, that the pound made me sign a waiver and I had to call the mayor's office to adopt him because they originally refused to let me have him. I sat down and watched every... single... episode... of every, single show, excerpt, snippet of anything that involved Cesar rehabilitating dogs and put it into practice. There was a lot of trial and error and it took about 6-8 months before he became completely rehabilitated, balanced, and HAPPY. I put my heart and soul into this dog and did it thanks to Cesar, which I am forever grateful for and I have never met Cesar in my life. Not to mention, I rehabilitated a HUSKY! That's a feat in and of itself because they're so stubborn! Now I find myself in a situation that none of his videos or training could ever prepare me for while connecting so much to Cesar's legacy and loss for Daddy and Junior... coping with the loss of my dearest and best friend. God, how I miss you buddy and I'm going to miss seeing Junior make appearances on Cesar's shows. :( My heart goes out to you because dogs like these leave holes in your heart that can never be filled. :( They don't live long enough...

I know Bruh. Its 2:40am PST and I couldn't even finish watching the video because I was getting emotional. Anyone who has owned a pet and had them in their lives for over 10-15yrs, never do well with the loss. I had to put my dog down from cancer and I had her from middle school, high school and 4yrs of college. That Jack Russell was my ride or die BESTY!.... I would have given up my life for her and she would have done the exact same for me!... RIP Justice!.... Daddy will always love you!....

I'm so glad I got to hear you talk about Junior. Everyone that absolutely loves you for the person you are, and what you do (and how it's all about the energy of people) that is the guiding force, also knows just how perceptive Daddy was and how you taught each other that lesson of energy. But as you said, Junior was completely different, yet he recognized those same qualities in you that Daddy loved about you. My nelly a black staffy died 4 years ago. I loved her more than some of my family. She was very spiritual and intelligent and loved my kids so much. She was so obedient that I didnt even need a leash to walk her. I'm in the uk and loved watching your shows.
