Cesar Romero admitted in an interview late in his life that he had many relationships with men. Tyrone Power lived with Cary Grant for a few years and there are many intimate photos of the two "friends." Cary Grant was a closeted gay man and had a long love affair with Randolph Scott. They shared a home together for a number of years.

There was another actor on the episode that reminded Romero of Tyrone Power. Romero felt comfortable enough with my friend, plus, it was 1975 (Romero was older, Power was long gone and not well-known to the generation of people on the set) that Romero told my friend that Tyrone Power and Cesar Romero were lovers on that South America trip in 1947-1948.

I remember as a little kid watching his old movies "Blood and Sand" and of course "Zorro" and thinking even then he was so good looking and magnetic on the screen. As a young person of that era, my mom was a fan of both legends. I like their films as well, despite being a Gen Xer. I recall Tyrone Jr's came in the 80's as well. Is he still acting? That's cool both of senior Tyrone's ex-wife spoke fondly of him. I doubt Tyrone was gay, just a fair minded guy who judged on character. Caesar might have been bi or straight, but who cares. I have thought of that before. Wouldn't it be a hoot if say 10% of the population is openly gay and the other 90% are gay too but in the closet? People tend to worry way too much about things that are none of their business. Why do we care so much about gay straight or bi?
