In 1961, three years after his death and when I was just 13 years old, I discovered Tyrone Power, by way of his movies being shown on TV. It was love at first site. When my mother would bring home the newest copy of TV Guide I would search through it to find any of his movies. If some were being shown on a channel we couldn't get (no cable back then), I would cry. I really had a bad teen-age crush on him. In my opinion he was the handsomest man to ever grace a Hollywood sound stage. I still miss him. I'm so grateful for cable, DVDs and old movie channels.

I have loved and admired Tyrone Power ever since I first saw him on our small black and white tv when I was aged about 7... how lucky to know you have his blood line coursing through your veins , and know a part of him lives on in you. He was the most handsome man I have ever seen, and his acting was honed to,perfection in every part he played . He seemed to give 150% of himself in each part. I’m sad that he died so young and you didn’t get to know your father to build long lasting memories of. But luckily you can still watch him whenever you wish, which we who admire from afar cannot do with our own fathers. A shame he never wrote more about himself in his papers, but thank you God for giving us such a shining star, who continues to burn brightly for us now and those who will be able to watch and enjoy his work in the future.

Thank you so much for bringing back to life one of the biggest stars of Hollywood's Golden Age - in the words of his three children. His legacy, and that of his long family history in entertainment, is showcased so thoroughly well by Romina, Taryn and Tyrone, Jr. All three children share what memories they had before and after their father's early death in 1958, with posthumous memories filled in by his friends, former wife and the same films we are still privileged to see. Most importantly, they shared something not often known about Tyrone Power - his humanity and generosity as a human being. With a distinguished military career in the US Marines during the Second World War, his modesty went hand-in-hand with his duty. Having sat by his signed photo many times over the decades whilst having lunch or dinner at the Cliff House in San Francisco, we now know much more about what was behind that picture, quite fittingly located above Alice Faye's. Many thanks for sharing such a lovely, poignant tribute. Romina, Taryn and Tyrone, Jr. are all the richer for having him as a father, along with the mother who raised them for the bulk of their childhood and are the perfect ambassadors to carry the Power dynasty forward.

Thank you so much! Tyrone Power is one of the people I'm grateful for. Watching his films I could never separate the man from the actor. He served both with humility, honesty and lots of love. Everything he did on the screen, on the stage, in his personal life, he did from the guts, and people realize that today more than ever. Very few people go through life having achieved so much and having given so much. He adorns heaven beautifully as he did this life. May his soul rest in peace for ever. I have a list of people that I pray for everyday. I just take my prayer rope and start with the Jesus prayer. Tyrone Power is right on top of that list and I feel that it is the least I can do for him. It's my way to say thank you for all the things he has offered to me and continues to offer through his films. I think praying like this is the best gift we can give to the ones we love whether they are alive or deceased. So, Tyrone this is my gift to you, you're always in my prayers. God bless us all
